1970 Glastron Custom Jet Bat

This is my first attempt at a jet boat.

I bought this 1970 Glastron 177 ski boat. The in line 4 cylinder inboard was shot.

I yanked the motor and cut up an old jet ski...

Should be finishing gelcoat & installing the motor this week.

Anyone seen or done anything similar here?

My river life started with that boat with the iron Duke 4 banger.

Cool project! Someone on one of the Glastron sites did that with a gt-150.

My first boat was a 15 Glastron with 75 HP Evinrude , It was a Hoot !
