1970 Honda CT 70

Bought it last year... had some fun with it. Had my mechanic go through it. Cosmetically it is untouched from when I bought it. It looks like a 54 yr old bike should.... we put a new tank in it...it was leaking. It was running fine but when my mechanic opened it up it was clear that it had little service done to it over the years... These little motors just naturally sling oil around inside when running and over time it builds up. all that was cleaned up.... like new now. This is a silver tag bike and has california title... two rare things when talking about old 70's

If it sells great....if it doesn't...great.

I learned to ride on this exact bike, in Tim Hanley's back yard. Same color and everything!

I had the exact same year and same color, sold it to my neighbor for 300 bucks mint condition with around 1000 miles on it, crap wish I kept it...I keep looking at this one and it brings back amazing memories, if I had the need or would actually ride it once in a while I would snap this up for sure. The Kid in me wants it that is for sure.

Looks like you changed out the decal to the OG KO decal. I was gonna mention to do that. Good call, makes the bike look more original. I have several CT70's, btw..

Man, i sold my 50 way to cheap. I sold it for a $1,000 back in 2017. My 50 was the same color (burt orange if i remember right). I owned mine since the 3 rd grade.

It was purchased new at Thrifty Lad Honda on Lincoln in Santa Monica.

I used to walk by there as a 10 year old kid and dream about owning one.

Had one when I was a kid, mine was blue. I never ever remember doing any maintenance on it. Almost everyone who had a CT70 had a bent ignition key.
