1980 Spectra XS For Sale

1980 24' Spectra XS 540 cubic inch 900 HP-Brummett/Race Aero Twin Turbo (pump gas).
[/COLOR]Motor is based on GM Bowtie Block with Brodex aluminum heads. The motor was built for durability and longevity by Carson. HP is an estimate per Carson/previous owner and has run 75+ at 775' elevation (my lake).
Turbo 400 3-speed transmission. 12* Casale with 1-1/8" prop shaft.
R&S Triple axle trailer.

Calgo dual cable steering was rebuilt by Norm Grimes - GSM two seasons ago.
Dash updated with Livorsi gauges three seasons ago, it retains the Jones direct drive tachometer.

If boat looks familiar, this is the "Body Glove" boat with stickers removed.

Not much looks better than a Spectra 24 xs with the bow rails removed. I don't know if yours came with them and were removed or if they made some without them but it looks great. Someone is going to get a nice boat.

Wow. Any idea of how many hours on the motor? Has it been freshened up? I take it probably not interested in any trades?

Still for sale, deal was a no-go

specrocz - I agree on removing the bow rails the 24 XS looks 1,000 times better without the rail

djunkie - I would estimate 400- 450 hours on motor. Prefer not to trade to trade at this time, if the situation was different might have an interest. Love your boat!
