Hello guys, i have a 1982 mercury blackmax 200hp. when running some tests, i noticed that on the top of the right side head of the motor water squirts out the top, out of a pin prick hole. wondering if its the head gasket? seems thats where the water is escaping anyway.

Post a picture, but sounds like the thermostat housing. Are there two 1/2" head bolts holding the housing to the head?

Pics. Could just be something to do with your water pressure gauge connection.

Thats fine. Post a picture and draw an arrow to the approximate location of the leak.
