Was it originally a California car? Any idea where the smog equipment is?

The smog pump is still on it but the hoses are gone. The PO changed the carb to a weber so there are a few loose vac lines floating around. I personally have not done anything to this except get it started and drove it around about 3 miles to check out the 4x4.

Is it registered in AZ now, and would it pass AZ smog?

It is not currently registered. I have a clean title to it. It passes local smog It will not pass the visual inspection with the pump disconnected. It sat in a storage lot for 2+ years so all rubber hoses probably need to be replaced.
