1986 Stoker 20 SST
2000 300X
For Sale

Ok guys. Here’s the deal. I have the 86 Stoker for sale. Engine is a 2000 Mercury 300x. Has MAD EFI, and Simon billet oring heads. 5 cylinders are 120psi. 1 is at 100psi. It will need a hone and re-ring. Boat is very solid and clean. No rot. Nice wood floors. Very minimal stress cracks. Seastar Steering. Hydraulic jack plate. Blinker switches. New marine carpet. All new stainless allen socket threw bolted hardware. Extreme trailer.

The boat runs and drives. Just needs to be re ring and honed.

Hoffman Motorsports quoted $3500 to hone and re-ring. He thinks it’s one of his engines.

$18,000 obo the way it sits. Or,
$25,000 if I have the engine rebuilt and put new wheels and tires on it.

I have California titles for boat and trailer.

Boat is in Santee Ca 92071.

No trades. Cash only.

Boat has been 116mph on race fuel and runs 102mph on 91.

Great looking boat for an 86! That must one of the first SST Stoker made. I think I had the last Baker RST made and it was listed as an 86 although probably layed up in 85.

Thank you. It’s very clean. I can only find 3 stress crack spots. This one is vin tagged ELB. Eliminator did this one. It’s lived in Canada for the last 8 years. Only used 2 months a year.

How is the deck on this one? My 84 is pretty thin, definitely don't want to walk on it and I'm only 160lbs.

When did Al start making boats? What did he change from the Baker RST...besides the deck. My Baker was a thin hull but the deck was pretty solid. Not Lavey solid but you could walk on it.

It’s light. I have a paper that says dry weight. I’ll look for it.

Who tooled the stoker deck? The rear half is very different from the RST deck of the Baker.

Yes much more conventional than the rounded off baker. Also notched the center pod at the transom and I think made some other changes to the center pod.
