Jus picked this up!!
Was a custom build. 1987 Eliminator Sport Cruiser. Delta pad bottom. Mercury Laser XRi 220hp efi
Really nice jack plate (but 1 leaky cyl)
Motor has land&Sea heads. Nose cone. 5 blade Maximus prop

Boat is pretty clean needs a good buff and some interior. Gonna get it running needs a couple things?? Will see how it runs!!!!

After you fix her up she's going to be a sweet ride. Have fun with the project, don't forget to check the transom for soft spots.

I cant believe it still runs with those cylinder heads. Where is propshaft height at? You may be able to ditch the five inch extension too.

I hear they run Hot??

Compression is at 125psi which I believe is stock

They work exceptionally well at making very hot water and gooey aluminum. Id find a set of stockers

They look pretty hung on the wall..and no drag racers do not like them. The water jackets are pathetic, they don't dissipate or transfer heat properly but damn they sure looked bitchin in the catalog. A mild cut set of stockers from someone who knows how to do the squish properly are much more safe.

Interior is bad and floors have been changed once and there shot I think the transom is not to good either. Gonna get it going for the summer after this 1 ????

Looks like it in pic but the jack plate is actually pretty tall on the boat?? And is all the way down now so it’s got a lot of upward travel in it

This was all set up by Eliminator should be all good!! But I’m gonna check it out when I move it to run it.

So it runs!!
I was told the land&Sea head’s run HOT!!
And guess what they do!! So I got some stock 1s coming

As for the prop the 5 blade gotta go. I got a 25p mirage plus I’m gonna throw on it to see what that does and my buddy got a few he’s gonna lend me to try out!!

As far as everything else with motor seems good accelerates no problem no misses!!!
I ended up putting new stator,trigger,rectifier,and ign boxes sent out injectors and ecu for a check up and all is good so far!!!!

The only thing those heads are good for is being recycled into old Milwaukee cans. They ruined alot of perfectly good motors

I just picked up one of these with the 220 also what speed are you seeing I had a 20’ bahner about same size and had a 200 carb Merc
With a low water pick up and a 24pitch chopper level with the pad and got a constant 65mph on gps should I get the same if not more out of the eleminator

You were only getting 65? I've got the same motor (carbed 200 with LWP) swinging a 26 Ron Hill big ear chopper and I'm seeing 64 on gps and I KNOW there is a lot more left in it because I'm doing that at almost 7k rpm.

That the biggest prop I tried on my bahner I was spinning 7k with it but sold it before I could try a 26p I’m going to be putting a low water pick up on this boat with a jack plate hoping I get some more speed I’d like to hit 70mph or get close the red white and blue boat is the bahner the blue and grey is the new boat look similar in size both have the same set back plate but will be adding a jack plate so should be around 16” of setback

Got a 23 laser on it now but was dealing with over heating problems so didn’t have the hammer down??
Now I can start to get on it!! I think it was hitting around 60 from what speedo was sayin ???

You need a 3 blade et, prolly a 24, that boat needs bow lift, et will do that
