Your project is coming along nicely
That is a cool way to drill the Hull, reminds me of how I used to install a Lateral sewer line insert, then tapping into main sewer line, then trimming with a root cutter
Sounds gross but same technique

Doing some glass work this weekend!!
Extending the blast plate 2” cause the strut got moved forward!!
This pick is looking from inside the boat with a light shining up from the bottom!!

so u can see where I have routered the plate recess forward 2”U can also see where it looks like they were gonna run a drop threw strut and did the cut out and holes but from some reason it didn’t happen?? And they plugged it??

I did notice some funky glass work on the inside of the boat but had black gel over the top and didn’t realize what was going on till I ground it out!

and I’m glad I did !!!!! Proper repairs coming!

bunch of parts at the polishers now and waiting for some stuff from Menkins

Wow, you have been busy.

The bilge looks great, what did you coat it with?

On the rudder, how did you determine how long to make the keyway?

Did you make a new blast plate or weld on an extension?

Keep up the great work!

Really nice work, I can’t wait to hear how much the handling is improved. I helped rig the first Vector v drive with the plates on piano hinges, the owner tried lots of new ideas that didn’t work out that well. I think your handling is going to be much improved.

Thanks!! Been a long 2yrs on this last go around!!

the boat actually handled really good before!! My gripe was that it wasn’t mile an houring ??
And the strut was more set up for family ski/ cruiser!! I got most of the setup #s from coin toss and it’s close. Somethings landed a little different but I think for the most part it should be fine !!
