I have a 1990 Howard RC, and the fiberglass tanks are on the sides under the floor. The person I bought the boat from had IMCO saddle tanks installed above the floor and left the old fiberglass tanks under the floor.

yup, this is pretty common, and the way to do it. Cutting those tanks out is a nightmare, just leave them in place.

man that things clean though, and i love the colors, very timeless.

good luck with the sale, someone will be happy. Not too many of these newer ones out there. I would have bought this if it was up for sale when I was looking.

Definitely a Howard. There were a few made with this gel scheme. I have one of them. It's a 90 but I/O

Not saying its not just curious of the jump in years of manufacturing. If someone wanted to pull money out on a purchase this would be an issue i would think?

No reason to think it's not an 89', Howard changed the top deck in 88' I believe. These molds were splashed off the Spectra but he changed the top deck later on you can see there is no rise in the deck as it moves to the dash. Super Clean boat and you can not build one for much less even if you do all the work yourself... ask me how I know :) Good luck selling her!

Well said Cliff, very nice boat. Take it from me 3 days of cutting and grinding the tanks out of the floors in mine. They leaked and etched into the bottom in some spots. All fixed now, beautiful boat, good luck with your sale!

I had a 89 w the paint schem in blue. This red one is a 89. They dont build em like this any more. These are way under valued.
