I've been told this is the "Holy Grail" of Hallett 240's. I don't know about that. It's a boat. It's beautiful and fun and of course I said, "I'm never going to sell it!" I only boat at Lake Powell so performance wise I'd be better off with something a little longer. That's why I'm selling. It's a great Havasu boat, as you all know. Just not big enough to use it's speed comfortably on Powell when the big water comes. So, how do you put a price on this? We have to start somewhere, so here it goes.

Original rigging by Brummett Marine. I bought the boat in early 2015. New motor in 2016. New drive in 2017.
Motor
516 cu. in., North of 800HP
Runs on 100LL or higher octane
Brodix CNC heads, GM Racing Bow Tie block, Velasco billet crankshaft, Carrillo rods, Race Aero - Gentry turbo kit, Merc Racing Thunderbolt ign. Jesel rocker arms. All engine aluminum was polished in 2017 and clear Ceracoated prior to re-assembly, I haven’t polished it since and the pics below are recent.

I use the boat about 1-2 times a year. Motor maybe has 60 hours on it. I’ve ran the boat fast 3 or 4 times. Runs great, the huge tabs really help the ride at high speed. Never chine walk or porpoise. GPS highest recorded speed is 90. I have prop testing on 3 props if you’re interested. Current prop is 5 blade 24P, it's the highest top speed and has great mid-range speed and response. 50mph @3600 RPM at Sea Level

Trim tabs are independent of each other (as they should be). They are actuated with electric rams on top of each stringer.

I will be taking it to Hallett’s in Havasu this weekend if anybody would like to see it.

New interior a few years before I bought it, including new floor. Cover is original but repaired and modified occasionally as needed. Cover was washed and waterproofed 2 years ago. Trailer is new 2016, Bear Trailersports. Trailer build thread is here on RDP. Electric over hydraulic brakes, way overkill. New Bimini and all new plexiglass windshield in 2015.

Solely maintained by Brummett Marine since new.

$70,000 OBO

This boat is unreal. Wish I had a larger budget for our next boat. I’ll keep dreaming

My wife wants a 27. I'm still trying to sell her on this.
240 is a great all around boat! It can handle some decent rough water definitely better then all other boats in the same size. Open floor plan for the family and storage for days. 270 will probably be a little better in the rough stuff but the cockpit is small. I feel a 240 is bigger then a 270 when inside the boat. one thing that has always bothered me about every 270 is when you sit in the back seat you can’t see out the front, never liked that.

Have been in tons on 27's. We used to have one. Most big boats you can't see out of the backseat. A step bottom 27 the visibility is much better because the floor is raised.

Have been in plenty of 24's also. Really can't go wrong with either.

Okay, it's getting close to the right time and season. I've had a few people look at it. Last guy said, "This looks way better than the pictures!"

So, let's get reasonable, what's this gonna go for? I knew it wasn't $70k.

If you're interested and it's "better than the pictures" then DM me your offer and let's find the next owner of this beautiful boat.

Gonna send this to my brother. He’s real big in it matching his truck. Which this one does!

Stunning!
The 100 octane fuel limits some buyers.

In all seriousness.... this is the nicest 240 out there IMO. Takes a perfect set and runs hard!

Someone needs to snatch this up!

Nope. Kids will ruin the interior and I have to many projects that need to be finished.

Lol I know the feeling, now I’ve just gotten to the point where I can fix whatever they ruin (it’s an easier battle) . My wife always thinks I’m over paying for what I’m fixing.... little does she know I’m doing double the the work I told her about! If I didn’t have the 240 I already have I’d be talking to Josh real seriously. This thing is light years ahead of mine and my 240 is halfway nice.
