I've been told this is the "Holy Grail" of Hallett 240's. I don't know about that. It's a boat. It's beautiful and fun and of course I said, "I'm never going to sell it!" I only boat at Lake Powell so performance wise I'd be better off with something a little longer. That's why I'm selling. It's a great Havasu boat, as you all know. Just not big enough to use it's speed comfortably on Powell when the big water comes. So, how do you put a price on this? We have to start somewhere, so here it goes.
Original rigging by Brummett Marine. I bought the boat in early 2015. Fresh Brummett motor in 2016. New drive in 2017.
Motor
516 cu. in., Dyno'd at 944 HP
Runs on 100 octane but can be tuned to run on pump gas
Brodix CNC heads, GM Racing Bow Tie block, Velasco billet crankshaft, Carrillo rods, Race Aero - Gentry turbo kit, Merc Racing Thunderbolt ign. Jesel rocker arms. All engine aluminum was polished in 2016 and clear Ceracoated prior to re-assembly, I haven’t polished it since and the pics below are recent.
I use the boat about 1-2 times a year. Motor maybe has 60 hours on it. I’ve ran the boat fast 3 or 4 times. Runs great, the huge tabs really help the ride at high speed. Never chine walk or porpoise. GPS highest recorded speed is 90. I have prop testing on 3 props if you’re interested. Current prop is 5 blade 24P, it's the highest top speed and has great mid-range speed and response. 50mph @3600 RPM at Sea Level
Trim tabs are independent of each other (as they should be). They are actuated with electric rams on top of each stringer.
I will be taking it to Hallett’s in Havasu this weekend if anybody would like to see it.
New interior a few years before I bought it, including new floor. Cover is original but repaired and modified occasionally as needed. Cover was washed and waterproofed 2 years ago. Trailer is new 2016, Bear Trailersports. Trailer build thread is here on RDP. Electric over hydraulic brakes, way overkill. New Bimini and all new plexiglass windshield in 2015.
Solely maintained by Brummett Marine since new.
$70,000 OBO
