1996 23’ Cougar MTR, has twin 2014 300xs’s, motors were purchased brand new and currently have 58 hours on them, really fun boat with the 300’s...she’s a rocket ship for sure, handles and rides wonderful for its size, really love this boat but have decided to go another direction...$52,000 obo

How much fuel does the boat hold and how many gallons per hour do the motors burn? Crusing? WOT?

Not much with xs engines. They sip 87. Havasu to Topock66 and back in mine at 80-100 the entire way and it’s 14 gallons total for both engines.

87 octane? Thought they require 91?

Yep made it home fine and I would like to say it was a pleasure dealing you and Jim. It has a good new home and I will add another chapter to the interesting history of a great boat!

I took it out for the first run on Saturday. It's going to take a few runs to get used to it. Not at all like my sports car Lavey, which is running better than ever with the fresh motor. Wife likes it, can't wait to make it mine with some up dates and changes. Excuse the temp Bimini borrowed from my son's boat...wifes gotta a have a Bimini.

Thanks, Buena Vista Lake near Bakersfield. Kind of a crappy lake but not too far from us and easy. Mostly went to get the 280 on the Lavey broken in after the rebuild but of course had to take the new boat out and start making the list! No action pix yet...grandson loves boats.

Never had a Daytona? I have had the Lavey 20.2 Sebring in the second pic for about the last 10 years. It was on the beach at the Church meet up at Pirates. Not for sale yet but will be in the near future.

I have an extra 280 that you can put on your lavey!
That little Vee is enough of a handful at 70 with a 200...... I can't even imagine another 80 hp on it.... Plus.... I want a tunnel. Lol!
