So I got a new truck and it has a 2.5” receiver hitch. My old truck had a 2”. For my weight distribution hitch should I upgrade the shank to a 2.5” or just buy the sleeve? My regular hitch is now 2.5” as my old one is worn out as well.
Thoughts?

The sleeves are kind of a pain to use. Getting everything lined up and pinned

The sleeves have a lot of play in them I hated it. Ended spending some good dough on a nice curt 2.5”

Get the shank you skank! And a locking pin kit

you might need a new drop hitch for the flat bed trailer
