Gotta finish all the rigging and it has fixed plates so we are making a pedal assembly for it. Also set up the steering. Then put a junk yard motor in it for the summer just to mess around with it.SWEET!! What are the plans?
those plates aren't fixed. Just don't have the control arm on it but the shaft is keyed for it. It used to be electric.Gotta finish all the rigging and it has fixed plates so we are making a pedal assembly for it. Also set up the steering. Oh okay good to know! I think i heard this was your old boat at one point in time if I'm not mistaken?those plates aren't fixed. Just don't have the control arm on it but the shaft is keyed for it. It used to be electric.
And just so you know that has a 17-4 s.s. fin and strut.
Yeah I’m super stoked with the boat and me and my dad are going to try and do as much as possible ourselves. Should be a fun project with the old manThat is SuperDaves old boat! I was wondering whatever happened to it!
Are you making the hardware yourself?
I'm not completely sure because I bought it off someone else. But it was in the beginning stages of being rigged when I bought it.So SuperDave never finished it? That was a long time ago!
yup! most of it was good. made a few changes to some of it but other than worked out pretty well.reusing most of my hardware I see.
Lol I just need to hack mine up a little and then I think I can get a freight liner and a sand car for it hahahalooks outstanding, based on some recent posts for 20's you could probably sell this for a $100K as it is...

That's my old boat and I made most of that hardware including the transom blocks. But the anodizer lost one so they bought the set you see here. Don't know who actually made them but came from Rex Marine.Looking very nice. Did you buy the transom blocks for the cav plates?

Heres a few pics of the boat finished but not completely finished. Borrowed the old mans blown and injected motor for a while until my TT motor is finished. Big thanks to everyone that helped along the way including my old man. Without him this would have never been possible.
