Just picked up this 20 and I am pretty stoked. Going to try and finish it up and get it ready for summer.

SWEET!! What are the plans?
Gotta finish all the rigging and it has fixed plates so we are making a pedal assembly for it. Also set up the steering. Then put a junk yard motor in it for the summer just to mess around with it.

those plates aren't fixed. Just don't have the control arm on it but the shaft is keyed for it. It used to be electric.
And just so you know that has a 17-4 s.s. fin and strut.

Got the pedal assembly mocked up so we can put the rod and lock out handle in the boat.

That is SuperDaves old boat! I was wondering whatever happened to it!

Are you making the hardware yourself?

Yeah I’m super stoked with the boat and me and my dad are going to try and do as much as possible ourselves. Should be a fun project with the old man

I'm not completely sure because I bought it off someone else. But it was in the beginning stages of being rigged when I bought it.

Hey, I found a metal HIN tag for that boat. It was located on the passenger side stringer behind the rail kit out of sight. Might want to put it back there. PM me an address and I'll send it to you.

just an update on progress. just some photos i had in my phone of rigging and the floors being redone. went with a zebra veneer on the floors since everything will be open. should get the boat back soon and begin to put everything back together.

Me and the old man are having a good time putting this thing all together. Here are a few pictures since we have started to put rigging and plates back on. Going to make a final push to make the Regatta!

Looking very nice. Did you buy the transom blocks for the cav plates?

That's my old boat and I made most of that hardware including the transom blocks. But the anodizer lost one so they bought the set you see here. Don't know who actually made them but came from Rex Marine.

looking great. I love working on the boat with my dad also. So much knowledge the old timers can pass down on stuff like this. Little things you aren't going to find on youtube.

Heres a few pics of the boat finished but not completely finished. Borrowed the old mans blown and injected motor for a while until my TT motor is finished. Big thanks to everyone that helped along the way including my old man. Without him this would have never been possible.
