I have to say, in 2003 I was close to the fires in San Diego because of work, real close. Makes a difference and it is not place you want to be...give a thank you to the Fire Departments, forest and local, doing a job that most cannot do.

Sad to see.... We spend a few weeks every year up at Camp Edison and have been going up there since I was a kid. It will take years for it to return to what it used to be., such a bummer.

I guess they wont have a bark beetle issue up there anymore, this is not the way I thought they would have cleaned up the infected trees.

Those guys are lucky they are on a beach next to the water. I'm no expert, but I'd have my equipment as close the water as possible.

That’s not a beach, that’s the lake bed edge, the water level was a little low
