For sale $9,000. Excellent condition 2002 R53 Mini Cooper S with 65k miles. Clean title and verifiable by car fax report (included). 2002-2006 Mini Coopers are supercharged, not turbo. Mechanical sound vehicle. Any issue that might have become problematic has been gone through and replaced. Car runs amazing and is a blast to drive. Very reliable and great on gas. I purchased to use as a short commuter car rather than driving my diesel. However, it doesn’t fit car seats as well as I hoped for. Below is a list of improvements to the car:

Normal Maintenance:
-Oil/filter change
-Brake fluid flush
-Coolant flush
-Supercharger Oil

Parts:
-Supercharger rebuild (inlet gasket, outlet gasket, oil, idler pulley).
-Refreshed cylinder head (valve, guide work performed / replaced with new guides, three angle valve job, CBN milled, new valve seals).
-Thermostat.
-New aluminum radiator.j
-New coolant tank (prone to crack so it was replaced).
-New coolant hoses (signs of aging so they were replaced).
-New R1 Concept drilled and slotted rotors.
-New R1 Concept brake pads.
-New poly front lower control arm bushings.
-New BBS 16” wheels and 195/16 tires.
-New headlights and tail lights (get foggy due to age).
-New Rev9 coilovers with dampening adjustments

Performance parts:
-Alta intake
-Alta Intercooler diverter
-Alta 15% supercharger pulley
-MSD coils and pack
-JCW 380cc injectors
-Detroit tuned bypass
-Magnaflow cat back exhaust

Exterior bling:
-JCW front upper grill
-Oversized hood scoop
-Yellow fog light tent
-New front black JCW grill
-New gloss black door handle covers
-Nee gloss black inner door handle cover
-New gloss black fuel cap cover
-New gloss black headlight trim
-Black belt line trim
-Rear wing extension
-Rear window wiper delete

Interior:
-New head liner
-New interior lights
-Alta short shifter
-Out motoring shift well cover
-Carbon fiber shift knob
-Boost gauge

For the cons:
-Leather on driver seat is worn slightly, no tears though. Passenger side looks good and rear seats look brand new.
-Glove box does not open

If you made it this far you can see the car is slightly built but nothing over the top (keep it reliable). Please give me a call or text if interested. (951) 712-1297

Price drop $8000. Need to move it so I can get a four door sedan.

nice ride. I love the super charged ones. Girl friend had one in college, blast to drive. Her friends got turbo ones and nothing but problems. I am too tall for these other wise would get it for a fun weekend car.

I already know what would happen if I took her for a spin. Thoughts of a roll cage and racing seats would solve the fitment problem. Then it becomes instantly a track toy which I definitely don't have time for. With the mods you have on it would be almost turnkey scca racer. Been their done that, trying to get a ultra-4 build started, don't need any distractions.

Good luck with the sale, if this was 5-10 years ago this would already be in my garage.
