If you're in Havasu, just call Robinson Automotive. Darryl and crew always take good care of their customers and RDP'rs...

I had selman Chevrolet do mine way back and it was 1200.00. With a lifetime warranty parts and labor. After 240k it's been replaced 2 other times no charge. So I guess it depends on how long you plan on keeping it.

What part? People make it out to be way harder than it is. I have done a few of them. Have the tools needed. Order an Acdelco from Rockauto. The more expensive one. Professional line.

Well here’s an update. Dealer wanted 1200 and the independent shop wanted 1100 so I did it myself. Watch some you tube videos bought a few special tools and a welded pump from Merchant Automotive. With new coolant I was right around $400. Took a solid five hours and that included clean up. The life saver was being able to borrow one of our mechanics 3/4” breaker bar and torque wrench for the harmonic balancer bolt. The bar and wrench are 42” long making short work of 260 foot pounds. Wasn’t hard just unbolt a lot of stuff and pay attention when putting it back together.[emoji106]
