Thinking of selling our Howard. We chronicled the build of it on this site and I'll provide the link, but essentially this boat sat in storage for 15 years, until we bought it and rigged it. The 1st time it touched water was April 2020.

It has a 540 built by Jim Grubbs Racing, full hydraulic steering and Gaffrig gauges. The boat is in perfect condition and everything works as it should. So far the top speed we've seen is low 90's with a 28 prop. Asking 60k

Couple more pics. We also have a fiberglass scope from Teague that needs to be installed

Not sure, but probably something like a schiada or Hallett Vector. We get the most use out of the wakeboard boat and the Howard is a little tough for my parents to take out alone. We'd like a little hotrod

Updated the price because we're ready to move on to something different.

Boat has a brand new bimini custom made by conquest.

Does it have a stock drive?
Yes it has a stock Bravo 1 and it was brand new in the box when we purchased the boat. We went back and forth on whether or not we should run it, but ultimately we went to Howard and talked to the son (I forget his name) and he said run it. He said that's all they ran back in the day, and they were fine if maintained and driven appropriately.

We change the oil frequently and it has served us well.

Your Howard came out great! GLWS!

How many of these were built then never completed? Did Howard sell them as kits at one time? I've seen a handful. There was one up for grabs years ago at a killer price and I still regret not buying it.

Thanks!

I'm not sure how many where built and sold like mine. I can tell you it was a lot more time and money to finish it then I anticipated. It's amazing how much goes into rigging a boat

Super nice Howard. I love it. It does take a lot of work to put something together like that and then if you’ve ever done a V Dr. you know it’s even a whole different level beyond that. What kind of Schiada or Vector are you wanting

Not looking for anything specific, just a little hotrod for the river. We have a ski boat that we use on most days, but I'd still like something fun to drive from time to time

Bump.

Kids are all in sports and the few times a year we get to the river we use the wake board boat. We only put a few hours on it last year
