2003 Shockwave SOLD**SOLD**SOLD.

SOLD!

454 H.O. Magnum motor with Dominator 25th anniversary jet drive

This boat has 14.5 hours on the motor - YES 14.5 hours! It's pretty much a new boat that has been broken in for you. Serviced at 10 hour mark. Last saw the water in July 07. No issues with it whatsoever.

It has always been garaged and is washed and waxed after each use. This boat has been on the water maybe 10 times since we purchased it. We are the original owners and own the boat outright-title in hand.

Moving in a different direction since we never use it.

* The boat is in mint condition. It has no scratches, dings or dents.
* 50+ MPH boat
* Open Bow jet drive boat. Seats 8-10 (great for the river)
* Wheel trim with Jet-a-Vator (200+ ft rooster)
* Kenwood CD player with remote control. Four 6x9 speakers
* Dual batteries with control switch
* Bimini Top
* Electronic engine compartment hatch
* Custom paint and upholstery
* Dual axel Extreme trailer with swing away tongue
* Boat cover, spare tire and water toys included in the sale

40k OBO. Will entertain possible trade for sand car. Throw some numbers at me.

Any offers?

Am I asking too much for a boat with 14.5 hours on it?

Thanks Wishiknew. Are you refering the time of year it is, economic situation or both?

Hey, and don't say " Wish I knew".. :)

I was told by a buddy to hold off till people head to the boat show and see the new prices. Maybe that was some good advise.

Just priced a new Shockwave (21' step skier). Base price is $49,500. I didn't price it with my upgrades

From a 350 (base model) to a 454 (3k upgrade for me)
Wheel Trim ?
Jet a vador ?
swing away tongue ?

Same boat would cost you over 52K

Save yourself 12+K and buy mine

Sinced you asked, $40k for a 21' jet boat that only runs in the low 50's in the winter seems way high. Everyone is selling off their toys now too which makes things tough. The boat is very nice but if you really need to sell it I would knock at least $12k off the price. If not, just keep it. It is very clean.

Good luck.

Ouch, 12k off the asking price to move it?

Although I did ask, 28k isn't gonna happen.

$35k would be a real world figure. Issue is there are plenty of clean 21 ft. jets around, (not as clean as yours) but they are in the 18-28k range, and, let's face it, not much has changed over the last 20 years with 21 semi vee jet boats.

I sold a 94 Ultra 21 with 235 hours for 18k. I paid the same price for it 5 years earlier. It had a 502 as well. The buyer had looked at 15 of the same model before buying mine on first sight. Get the right buyer and you're golden.

Might want to consier calling Chris May at Shockwave and having him put it on his website for a small fee. Keith Sayre of Magic Boats gets asked aobut 21ft. jets on a fairly regular basis as well. No better salesman than Keith.

Just some ideas, good luck.

Thanks Lowriver.

Sounds like a good idea. I'm sure they get tons of walk-ins looking for new boats. When they hear the cost of a new boat, they may give mine a look.

By chance, do you know what I should expect as far as "a small fee"?

Sorry, I don't but I know Ultra has placed privately owned used Ultra's on their site. I know Chris at Shockwave is a cool guy and he might do it for free. Check it out. Tell him you were referred by Gary, the Sergeant that used to work for his dad. He should remember.

New Shockwave 21' step skiers (base model) is 49.5k. This one has 4 k in upgrades. Your looking at 53K for a new one.

14.5 hours on this boat folks... Garage keep - ALWAYS. Super clean boat!

**New price** 38K OBO.

This boat needs to go - want a sandcar...

Throw me some numbers. Will entertain trades for a sandcar as well.

60-65K for new 21" jets at the boat show...Lots of people there and according to some of the builders - no one is buying.

Looking for a like new jet boat - look here. Hell of a lot less expensive that buying new..

Season is coming up.

I will have the boat service, throw in new batteries and detail it for the new owner.

Once the deal is done, you leave with the title. No B.S

Yeah, I can read the date. I was still curious.
In that case. My parents sold their 2004 Skier with a 6.2 B1 with 170hrs in 2012 for $23,000.

Still kicking myself for not buying it, but it wouldn’t fit in my garage.
