Good friend is looking at selling. He’s just not using it much anymore. It’s a 2005 with 315ish hours with a 496. Love the gel. Great boat.

I would say list it for at least 50 if not closer to 60k, I have no idea what it will sell for though. Supposedly people are getting huge chunks taken off of their covid asking price. I’m sure LOF and Vic will be along shortly to give you some better advice.

Pretty boat. Looks like it needs interior. I'll give him $35k.

IMO, I think and feel there is a slight change softening up in the market soon. It is a solid boat and looks to have a few nice upgrades... hidden bimini, headrests on rear seat/hatch, hydraulic hatch, and the 496. I would hope to see him get close to $50K for it.

Nice boat. I have an 03 Ultra which I believe is the same Hull. With the 496 I would think in current market could list around 50 and see how it goes. There’s an 03 Ultra on str8uptoytrader for 60 right now with a 496.

IMHO... Most $32.5 thats a very motivated buyer...
Why... its a 2005,

Worst of all, the damn thing has Dallas Cowboy colors... that takes at least $10K off the price alone....

Gotta factor in the price of new Gel....

They’re 49’r fans. The Cowboy comment may get them to dump it

And it probably only comes with a double axle trailer... take another $5K off the price...

Change the color scheme, add an axle... cause everyone knows the only way to roll a 23 ft boat is with 3 axles minimum. That brings the price closer $70K.

Shit,,, I might be talking my self into a boat investment... pick it up at the right price, add gel, axle, big sound system... might be able to make a buck or two.

Just having a bit of fun, wrapped up a great business meeting at Flemings Steakhouse, with great people who happen to be customers, got home, had a nightcap of bourbon, yes, my pours a 1 ice cube and 3 fingers, and I am on my third one.... Just as business was about to get back to pre CV19, fuckers are planning to lock us down again within a few weeks if Fauci and Libtards get there way.

This is a nice boat, If I owned it, I would advertise it for $10K over what I thought it would sell for and negotiate down, because there is alot of stupid in this world who have no idea of what they should pay for a boat like this. It will most likely sell for alot more than I would pay, but again... We are surrounded by alot of stupid on the West Coast. Someone will re fi the house they bought 9 months ago, to buy this boat....

Buy it Tim, These are great boats. Of all the versions of this hull - Eliminator, DCB, Ultra, Lightning, Genesis etc. the Cobra is the nicest with the best hardware.

Our friends have this same setup - 496 with the offshore controls. These can safely handle Havasu on the rougher days, and ride decent ride for the size.

Around $80k. Was $70k a couple years ago, and $60k a couple years before that.

If you were building new today, the 350HP small block is the way to go, unless you get the HO big block. Standard engine is the 300HP small block.

It’s more than 80k… again, mine was over 80k in 2015

Wow, I hope they get it!
If he gets near asking price I would like to meet the buyer and see what makes him tick?

I hope they get all the money for it.. I think it will go close to $50 given we are on the tail end of the season, and the age of the boat.

A friend was looking at (2) 23' boats in late May/early June, a domin8tor deck and a 23' Commander, both 2017-2018 with less than 50 hours and big blocks, both were advertised in the mid $70s, buyers real number to move the boats was the low $60s. He got the Commander for $62k, had 22 hours on it, big block, good stereo.

Hasn't commander been out of business since 2010ish?

This one just listed. I like your friends gel better. I would say 50k range. But if they offer reasonable apr and financing 60k might be possible. View attachment 1030677

The quicker that sells the better off he will be. That should move fast if it is as advertised. It's priced right.

I'd list it for sale next year spring, but that's a gamble as who knows what can happen by then.

I have a buddy that listed a boat and didn't get any calls yet, and there's one I'm actually interested in from a few weeks back and I just got a text the other day that's much closer to my offer. I think the market is slowing down towards the end of summer more than I thought.

Agreed. School is starting back in 3 weeks or less for most kids. Everyone is gonna be running back to the desert toys here in another 2 months.

It has less freeboard, yes.
It looks like it was listed for 66k and if sold for 62k doesn’t seem like a crazy discount. Especially for a hull that looks like it was designed in the early to mid 90s. I feel the cobra has aged a lot better.

?
The boat my friend bought was listed at $75k.

We told him to buy an older, better boat.. but he wanted the newest thing he could find.

The white green and orange one from the website? That’s the only 2017/2018 that’s been for sale.

2018 23 commander with a 1990s Gen 454 that has almost 500 hours, 66k😳

if he gets 50k that is pretty good, I would say anything above that is a bonus. Buddy sold same boat end of last summer with scorpion motor for 23k, oh what a difference a year makes.

No this one was sold private party via craigslist. It is blue orange and grey. It has an upgraded stereo, subs, etc.

Where is that posted? These two are looking really interesting since we are getting to the point of pulling the trigger.

These things on the trailer are just over 30' with the drive up, about 29' with the drive down.... If you needed dimensions ;)
