Ford starts building the 6.2L V8 models this month. It's a $3,000 upcharge for 411 hp.

No go on the supercharger. As I mentioned above, the upgraded motor is the 6.2L.

They don't come from the factory supercharged, but I've seen a few online. Hennessey and another company in Jersey make kits. Pricey though around 14k installed. The Hennessey one ran a 14 second 1/4 mile in 4 wheel drive! I'd love to buy one of these trucks!!!!

Thats fucking pathetic if that truck ran 14s.. my f250 went 13.32 with 300 bucks worth of programming (SCT) in 2WD!

Try checkin youtube or hennessey's site. I know what I saw on the video. The truck was haulin' ass. I'f not saying my truck will do it, I'm just sayin there's one out there that can. 13.32 in an f-250 with only $300 in programming? I find that very hard to believe. If that was the case, svt would make a short cab short bed lightning diesel hahahaha

Seriously, this truck is a disappointment. The dude says it has headers, full exhaust, injectors, tuned and blown and it put down 387 HP/410 LB FT to the tire.. It went 14.09 and they said it was OVER 2 seconds faster than stock. This new truck doesn't hold a candle to the 2nd gen lightnings.

Your welcome to come to the track with me, and I'll show you a 7200 lb diesel truck running 13.30s with nothing more than a tune and exhaust. I'd love to eat up a new rapturd. Sad that a diesel trailer-puller puts down 460 HP/ 903 LB FT for next to nothing, isn't it?

Pretty sure this truck wasnt meant for the 1/4 mile. That being said lets take your 13s truck and prerun Baja. Pretty sure it will leave your truck a pile in the dezert.

Im not sure but a team from Chile ran one in Dakar and completed 7 stages before they broke

They finished 3rd! It had a little more than stock, but quite a feat none the less.

The lightning is a sweet fast truck, but only street use. The Raptor is pretty versatile if you think about it. What other bone stock truck could you tow your boat to the river and then go use it off roading out by shea road? I'm hopin the dairy business changes for the better and I can order myself one with the 411hp 6.2L

No doubt, my pile won't go over a curb. I'll give you that. This is why you don't see my taking it out in the dirt, why would you bring a slow dirt truck to the track? Double edged sword, my friend
