is the water brown? or is that just a photoshop filter/edit to cause the water to look like that.

Water in those bays and bayous gets off color from rain runoff. Clear Lake and Galveston Bay are generally pretty clear depending on the wind direction and tides.

Joe you'd shit if you seen how dirty decks were last year. It rained and there's dirt/grass were you walk on part of it. Boats were so dirty. But the party is badass. There are always at least 4 helio's at Kenny's house on the side yard.

Jay I looked for ya at the street deal.

John you taking the DW to the party tomorrow?

Yes. Side tying, and partying is much more prevalent in the midwest / east coast.. They literally have it down to a science. At this event they will park four - five deep on the bar docks, and the bars have kids that run across the boats, and throw lines back and forth so people can pull the center boats out, and pull the group closer in.. It's awesome to watch.

I know guys that flat say West Coast Boaters don't know shit.. LOL Everybody used to side tie and party all night down in Parker.. Not sure whatever happened to that. People would also side tie at the bars years back in Parker. I suspect the wakeboard boats put an end to that nowadays though.

Are you from around that area? I live in Louisiana, been wanting to get over there and boat. I have never ran my ran my boat around there and would like to hook up with some natives to run.

I didn't see Verns run but I could hear it, sounded rough no doubt. I did watch the F32 run and it laid down a solid run, but looked like it was hooked up and gone!

I drank beers in the hotel parking lot one night with the Lavey Craft guys. Super cool group of guys, they had towed out to Desert Storm to run this year as well. They were doing a couple of shootouts with the boat. :thumbsup
