I dont remember a dock at the ramp. I was thinking about just leaving the trailer parked in the water all day... You think anyone will tow it away?

Back it in, there’s a dock right there in the middle of 6 lanes. Your boat will fit fine at the top of the T.
Tie it off and park the rig.
With regards to your last question, it’s advisable to haul it to a proper area

My 90 year old Mother in Law broke her hip yesterday, replacement surgery today. Wife told me to go and have fun on the dam run. At a week away I don't have enough time to round up a legit side chick so I'm gonna have to cancel. I have a room and a slip at the Katherines landing hotel for Friday and Saturday nights. Not sure if it's sold out but if anyone wants me to transfer the reservation to them, lemme know. Gimme a call to speed things up, I have to call by tomorrow, Friday to cancel. 562 244 0244, Kieth. First post from Vic is the summery of whats is planned.
Some will start to hang out (float) about 9am just pass the marina area at Katherines.

The first post on this thread says for the boat leaving from Katherine’s to meet up at the no wake buoys before 10am. Then at about 10, the group will head to Cottonwood. Arrival at about 11’ish.
