2018 Domn8er 22’ Deck

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to show the new Domn8er 22’ I have being built. I believe I am the first 22’ Domn8er running on Parker. The crew at Domn8er is doing an awesome job, should be ready in 3 weeks!

Running the 350, didn’t wanna jump up to a big block price tag. I should be low 60’s for speed, which is perfect for my family and I. We looked at shockwave, placecraft and an older 23’ ultra but really liked the lines and the way the Domn8er sits.

That’s what we liked. The Domn8er feels like a much larger boat.

I do agree the Domn8tor’s lines are nicer. I like the side vents and the fact it is raised higher out of the water. I can’t help but think the speeds are on the low end with that motor though? Tahiti is still working on theirs and not sure what Shockwave’s results were.

The shockwave and the placecraft defiantently get more mph but running in Havasu they get pretty beat up for sitting so low. I’m used to running to Catalina and San Clemente island, so kept going back to Domn8er for the better freeboard like my ocean boat. Should be a blast in Parker, thru hull might be pretty loud for the kids. Thought about the Teague insert silencers to help....

Engine is arriving in 3 days, took 30 days from when we ordered it. I’m just looking for a fun boat that can hold the Family, when the kids get older I will upgrade to something built.

I’m still keeping the rpm’s low during the break in period but I opened it up last trip. With just 2 adults and 25 gallons of fuel we hit 65 on the speedo, still had a little more room left. Will eventually start playing with the prop but for now that’s perfect for our family. The boat has a ton of room and the fit and finish is on point. We took 6 adults and 4 kids out last Sunday and for once didn’t feel claustrophobic haha.

Do you get any water splashing over the bow?

No the bow sits really high, we have a higher freeboard then some 25-28 deck boats we see. We mainly boat on the river which gets pretty choppy on the weekend, not once did I feel water come over the bow. That was a huge concern for us, having 2 small kids. Noticed a few placecraft the other weekend and wow they sit a lot lower in the bow then our boat.

My wife and I were all ready to buy a Domn8er deck boat. Dory was super cool and spent a lot of time with us. They are really nice boats all the staff were awesome. We found a low hour 27 Daytona and went that route but I can't say enough about Domn8er. Beautiful boat sir!!!

yeah we got the open bow walk through. 2006 27 with a 496 HO with 150 hours. We love the boat.

I'd look into Cheetahs new 22ft deck. Looks pretty killer and a lot larger than most 22's. This Domn8er is a nice boat too though.

i run 383 aftermarket on my old 86 sea ray, i get it to 63 mph gps fully loaded 63 gallons of fuel, 5 people, and all boat stuff tools, toys, anchors, and of course, liguids.
