Glad someone got pics up close and personal! I did a double take in the parking lot when I saw it. Does anybody know the story? Looked like it came out of Howard like that.
We talked to him for a bit. His father owns the patent to the dual jet drive technology. Guess he was the one that worked with Wes and Trident. Boat didn't come from Howard that way. He said he doesn't even know if Howard knows it exists lolGlad someone got pics up close and personal! I did a double take in the parking lot when I saw it. Does anybody know the story? Yes just like the others, he said it accelerates hard but depending on the impellers it only does high 50s to low 60sThere was a few done back in the day and featured in HotBoat magazine (yes they had a magazine lol).
If I remember right they were quick from idle to cruise speeds but limited on the big end.
They’re beautiful boats. I love all of the west coast boats with only a few exceptions but the original pre-Nordic Halletts are uniquely cool in their own way and I’ve been a fan of them my whole life. You can’t go wrong with their timeless designs. You are making me want a hallett soo bad.
