Dennis Dillon up here in Idaho is doing the same type of thing. I feel bad for someone who paid more earlier in the year.

There are some good deals out there right now. I picked up a 2019 Ram 2500 Tradesman 4x4 with the 6.4 Hemi as a new daily driver work truck. Paid 35K

Very happy with the way the truck drives and tows. The new vinyl seats are incredibly comfortable. I own a diesel Laramie as well and I can say that the tradesman does not feel like much of a step down.

I picked up a 2500 tradesman in
March. I got it for $36,000 mine is an 2018 so I have the 6 speed cloth seats and carpet.
Does yours have carpet? All of the vinyl seat trucks I saw didn’t have carpet.

kinda wish I would have waited and got a 2019 so I could have the 8 speed.

I’m getting tired of waiting on the new tundra.

Anyone have experience with the Rebel. Debadged it might look ok. Stats seem good.

Mine has the rubber flooring. I like the rubber floor cause it removes the stress of getting carpet dirty. The vinyl seats are really nice, form fitting, nice stitching etc. I got the 4:10 rear end but with the 8 speed trans it keeps the RPMs low on the freeway. Has the chrome package as well. Just a basic truck but way nicer than I expected for the price

I got the 4:10’s as well. Luckily I only drive it much at all because mileage sucks. I knew that going in though.
I really wish I had the bigger screen for the back up camera.

The Rebel is a nice truck. The only thing I wish it could be had with black interior. The red is a little much.

3.92's, e locker, 4600 Bilsteins. Stock wheel are nice. Just needs a strut spacer 35's and done.

Yeah and then whatever future issues it may have. Regular Hemi is what I would go with. The prices are crazy low. Looking on HBR site now.

FYI Huntington Beach Dodge is as straightforward as it gets. I know people are always skeptical of add on fees or whatever. When I bought mine, I showed up, showed them the add, they pulled it around, and I bought it for the listed online price. Super easy.

I wan't planning on a new car but then again. Has anyone ever put a camper shell on a truck for dogs? If I keep the windows between the truck and camper shell open can the truck's A/C cool the bed? If not I am stuck with the Tahoe.

Growing up as kids we rode to the lake like that. LA to Vegas. 1985 F250 with a carpet kit and a shell. Slider open we had plenty of air.

We went from Orange to Newport Beaxh in the back of an open pickup countless times when we were kids...straight down the 55.

It’s amazing we survived [emoji849]

All the mileage ratings are BS:rolleyes: Our GC with the 5.7 Hemi is the same. The deactivation light only comes on while driving perfectly level roads, placing an egg between my foot and the gas pedal.:pAlso, the mileage doesn't change what so ever either in full 8cyl or 4cyl deactivation mode.Driving at 70 mph getting 21 mpg, no bloody way. I had my fair share of Mopars, they're great performers, gas sucking mfers:D

Yeah our 6.2 8 speed easily gets 19-20 cruising 80. Leveled on 33's also. Slow it down to 70mph and 21-22.
I get 19-20 Mpg on my 2003 GMC Sierra 71z with 5.3 with 275/75/16 wheels @ 70-75 MPH, Bought it new off the lot for 27 grand O% Interest for 5 yrs.
The best Truck I have ever have owned, Still running strong at 127.000 Miles on it.

Same for me. Cash deal, on the advertised price. Took 2 days, they were hoping I'd leave. Worst experience ever buying a car. The first salesman quit helping me and gave the deal to another guy. No haggling, just wanted to pay cash.

For sure part of there game.

If someone had a fleet contact for the actual advertised price with no forced add ons I would seriously consider a new 2020 Rebel.

I had really good luck with the fleet guy at Ontario Dodge a few months ago when buying a Promaster city van for my company. i asked him for the bring me a check price, he sent it. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes, no BS. He already had to paperwork done before I got there. (Past performance not indicative of future results, your results may differ.)

You don’t have to take those add-ons I may take an extra hour or so but believe me you can buy it at the advertise price if not DMV investigators would be all over them.
