So how do you guys feel about vanguard ETF’s? VUG and VOO in particular. Thinking about moving a good chunk over to something like that. Kind of a set it and forget it type deal.

My annuity is in Vanguard, I don't really mess with it, plus I can't touch it for like 30 years anyhow.

I like the Wesley and Wellington mutual in VANGAURD for long haul, they have really held their own over past 30 years even on down turns didn't get hurt too bad.

so.....whats your next step?
Nothing really.

Overall I’m green. But after my emotions got the best of me with panick selling during the capital incident. I bought back in high so I show as red.

Today as made the red margins much smaller

I have put in $29,000 account is currently worth $41,800.
Besides NMTCD which was a gamble for shits and giggles.
Do you see anything you would sell?

If Apple runs up to $140-$150 I will sell some and look to put it in a vanguard or ark ETF. Once Walmart goes green I will close it and put it in an ETF as well I think.
I don’t know why but visa never really has gained much for me. But it seems a safe bet long term which is what I’m after. I still contemplating selling it.

My tying was to emphasis a strategy....any strategy but you gotta have one.

Recently we bought....added to existing positions. Only one that was sold turned out a great decision which was VIAC.

Well my strategy was to buy cheap make some quick Money then move it to safer investments for long term gradual growth.
I’m starting to think the easy Money has been made and it’s time to look for good exit point.

Then start shopping for some good entry points.

That thing is a roller coaster. I have not bought any, but I have been watching it. +10% one day -10% the next.
It’s still up pretty good from when I first mentioned it. Nio needs a pop

I have a Solo401K accounts I started 24 months back and made one other contribution last year, bought 15 different ETFs to fully diversify and haven't touch it. Same idea to forget about it and it's worked out well so far. 30% gain thus far with no risk (IHMO). No strategy beyond covering many market segments.

Best performers have been XLY, IXN and XLG.

Have both as well, hopefully NIO heats up with all of the EV talk.

Check out MP materials for this play as well.
I’m pretty heavy with mp. Just need a little movement and I’ll be happy

Possible Swing Trade...
MU
WTF - I cant find any info on why its sold off so hard...
Chip Manufacturing is in short supply, therefore MU should be able to raise prices on there products, and still meet profit targets. Currently trading in the $85, with a $95 recent peak... so it has 10% ROI...
I am confused as to why this is so discounted in this market... I guess I need to look at AMD and see what they are up to... They have been oversold also... So it may be a sector thing...
But that RSI of about 15... wow... thats over sold.... there should be a couple of dollars upside for a short term bounce regardless of the swing trade... I do not have a position yet... but damn I am watching it closely... any signs of strength, I might buy 25% position.

View attachment 984775

Edited... PE Ratio of 32

And lets look at MU now....

Swing Trade Idea...
GNRC - Generac,

Good news is that is has been selling off a bit with the NQ turmoil. Bad News.. is it still has a PE Ratio of 56... which is quite high to me... But when I look at the analyst ratings of this stock... The have pretty high price targets, pretty much all say its buy/hold stock...

The best news is the RSI, I love this indicator for swing trades, because it gives you a very good idea of when things are over bought and over sold... GNRC is appearing to be a bit on the oversold side right now....

I would like for it to get lower... Maybe to $305... but that may be to much to ask for... so I may take a 10-20% starter position at this level... But I will feel it out for the rest of the day...

TLRY Day Trade
Not the best entry, but pretty pretty happy with the trade overall...
In at blue triangle, out 50% at the first Red Triangle, then out 25%, left 25% to run, but I sold it after the red volume kicked in...
WHY...

Because TLRY has been selling off hard for over a week now... That white line around $20.19, is a key level ttrendline that I drew a few days ago... So when it hit that level and rejected, I had a feeling it wasnt going to get above it so I further reduced my position (second red triangle), just in case I am wrong, I still had 25% to run if it wanted to run...

But red volume came in, I felt it was probably going to fade back to VWAP or lower, and I got all out. I may short it now.....

This is daily chart.

1617898018546.png

This is a multi day chart, that shows my white trend line...that I drew a few days ago, and kept extending to determine strength vs weakness of it.

When you look at charts like this, it can give you a better idea of entry points/ exit points, or when to reduce your positions, or just key data points.

Be very careful with AMC...
An Analysts has given it a price target of $1... then when challenged on that valuation... they provided alot of key information, to back up that analysis..

I would not recommend holding AMC overnight.... Daytrade, sure, overnight, be prepared for it to open up down 20% one morning... or more...

But thats my opinion.

Theatres have a tough future ahead of them. Looks like releasing new movies to streaming outlets the same time as theatres is here to stay. Probably a small portion of their revenue but in a already struggling sector it will have an impact.

I worked in the theater industry for 10 years and sad to say it's going the way of the dodo bird.

It was already struggling but the advant of direct to streaming will be the end. In 10 years it will be a very small niche deal.

It will go up , people that go to movies have been waiting.

Great, now back that up with key facts, that will make Mutual Fund companys and ETF's buy it long and continue to buy it long over the next year or so.
Because thats where the real money is made over the long term.... AAPL, TSLA, AMZN, NFLX, NVDA etc etc etc etc..... A key reason why I have PLTR as a long term buy and hold, and I am Red on that position, but I am not selling....

From what I am seeing on AMC They have no PE Ratio, they diluted there shares, and doubled/tripled there debt in the last 18 months... Seriously what revenue do they have to bring in to justify there price? Thats a question you need to be asking.... based on the financials they are reporting.

If you see it as a short term spec play, great, treat it as spec... (meaning smaller positions, for shorter terms based on gut or recent news).

But if you see it as a longer term investment, then you should research the concerns I outlined above.... and take a look at the calls that I make on this thread, and how I follow them up, right/wrong....

Again, these are my opinions... I still have alot to learn...

There is no rhyme nor reason. The market has changed. My opinion is it will go and I will make money. Will it come back down? I don’t know. But my opinion is It will go up and I will make money. The market is more like a casino right now. Even the “experts” are saying nothing makes sense. I can post 1000 YouTube videos on who what when or why but it strictly a gamble based on trends. Wall Street bets Reddit and YouTube have created a whole new play book. Like VIAC. That was also a meme/Reddit play

If thats your gut, do it, but I recommend you treat it as a speculative play. Create your trading plan, entry, stop and take profits... but I have a trading plan for everything that I put $$$ into.

Because with out a plan, all you have it hope, thats not going to help when your down 30% and trying to figure out what to do next.

You said that about my whole portfolio but never got back to it, which I know you’re busy and that’s not your job but a lot of my picks were pretty good. Most my dd is done on Reddit YouTube and tip ranks

I love Disney under 190. Have quite a bit in my long term account as well.
I was in Disney Down in the 1teens and 120’s. Bailed at 160.
It has been hovering at 180-190 for a while. With reopening within sight it could only get better I imagine?
