Is the parking lot dirt!?

God damn I can't win, lol

We are set at the Hampton.
No it’s mostly asphalt… but they have a big dirt lot in front where most park their boats cuz the actual parking lot isn’t really set up for many trailers.
Bring your cover haha.

Heading down to the river. Got to put a power head on for tomorrow.
Looking forward to this run. Should be hot

Bummed to not be able to meet up at 4S with everyone again this year. Our boat is down, so we will be showcasing the raw, untamed power of the Slow Disaster on the Fisher's sandbar tomorrow instead of heading up river 😆 Have fun, everyone, and be safe! 😊

It’s going to be a scorcher. I’m looking forward to the run. Not looking forward to 118 degrees. 😬

Well we booked campsites at the cove but we had to cancel them..

The temps are way to high for the motorhome AC’s. When it was 108 here in havasu it was about 90 in the motorhome.. I got a bunch my front AC I Just replaced isn’t doing as goood as the old one.. plus it sounds like a Cummins idling.. 🤨

Ultimately it was too hot for the dog and family. Stacy is hurting something fierce and this whole thing just sounded miserable for her from her broken rib….

We sent the rdp raffle gift with Chase’s wife this morning. It is a little over 400 bucks worth of stuff in it so I hope whoever wins it enjoys!

Have fun take lots Of pics!

20 degree difference is all you can hope for until you add a 3rd AC. My 2 13.5 AC units were good for 20. Added the 3rd (15k) on its own power supply and I can see 80’s inside when it is 120 outside

P

Pfft. I have only 1 BASEMENT AC. we’re still out here. Stay in the water until the Sun goes down. No big deal. 😉 View attachment 1124736 View attachment 1124737
Those canopies behind your motor home, are they camping spots or just a storage area? It makes a huge difference if you can keep the sunshine off the MH.

Are there any camp grounds along the river with covered my parking?

I would rock that in a heartbeat. No concern to spend hours cleaning after you get off the water!

Had to get a splash of fuel at Walters Camp. Brother In-laws Daytona was propped to small and I was having some fun on the first leg.
We both sucked up some hydrilla which set our overheat buzzers off trying to get to the gas pumps. We spent some time flushing out.

What a blast. First time making this run after a couple misses. Hands down, the nicest boating people on earth. @ChrisV and his family were amazing and I can’t thank them enough. @MARCYTECH and Tyler, best dudes on earth. @Joker was I talking to you about your Mach 22 and the 300r on back? Offered to park my truck!
Lower river running is different, that’s for sure, but we had a blast. Loved running the boat that much as it ran great too. Beautiful outboard boats all over, and like minded people to talk shop with. Lower River Outboard group is the best.
