Try Caruso Ford online guy, he may take an order at MSRP, via Costco referral

This is why I held out for so long with my 2013 6.2 Raptor. I refused to by a 6 cylinder Raptor:

My 7.3 Tremor will be about ready to replace when this comes available.
Same reason when mine got totaled I didn’t replace it.

What does it take to get on a allocation list? A connection at a dealership?
How much will one resale for the 1st month it arrives?
Asking for a friend

It's been a rumor for 3 years now, hopefully they do it this year.

There is a new TRX build coming in 2023 codename Redeye...

Chevy is worthless as predicted, fucking GM is just a bunch of retards. Pissed.

Will GM step up and put a wide body kit on the AT4X and drop the CTS V Blackwing LT4 engine in it to level the playing field? Probably not, like SB Mech said, GM’s a bunch of retards.

Chevy will come up with some lame attempt to fill the niche.

It’ll be a standard 4 x4 pick-up with. A bunch of stickers a hood with some body-work and some long travel shocks.

They show no imagination and no vision.

Unfortunately GM has become a lame duck. It sucks it's happened, but they have nobody to blame but themselves. 🤬

I’m interested, too. Heard that Ford isn’t opening the order books until July, does anyone have an RDP hookup to find out?Sunrise maybe? I will not pay some ridiculous markup over MSRP, however. I hope the Ford chairman is true to his word and actually cracks down on the BS.

GM doesn't do small market vehicles. As cool as a long travel, supercharged ZR2 type truck would be, it's still a niche market. Same as a HD Suburban which is why they cancelled that program. The future money makers are going to be long range EVs, not the supercharged dinosaurs that we all know and love. The Corvette and it's Z06/ZR1/Zora variants are still around because the name has been around for nearly 70 years but even the Camaro is going away. Challenger, Charger and Mustang are all going EV.

A prime example is even though we all love the Mercury Racing QC4V 1350/1550 engine, even those ballers have moved on to 450 OBs. It just makes more financial sense. I mean hell, even RD left the Schiada/Hallett life for the OB toon life. The times are a changing.

Sad but true. The ZR2 line is a step in the right direction, but I’d really like an HD suburban with the 6.6. Even better if they could put the 10 speed in like Ford with their trucks. Pipe dreams.

We'll revisit this thread in 10 years when everybody here is driving electric cars, trucks and boats and laugh about the rhetoric involving 700+ HP/91 Octane trucks.

NEVER! Love my model 3, but it’ll never give me the goosebumps I get when I hear my neighbor fire up his Maserati with aftermarket exhaust in the morning.

They built the ZR2 Bison. Only 3000 between gas and oil burner in 2019. I'm not sure of the product run in the following years but still short runs. Also the limited edition Corvette and Camaro models. AEV is doing some kind of Silverado ZR2 right now I believe.

110K Sticker. People are going to pay up for this stuff with limited availability.

I’ll take a TRX and 32K in my pocket please.

“Life is marginally better with the TRX, which starts at just over $80,000, but the option catalog demands $20,000 to match the equipment level on the Raptor R. That $10,000 gap between loaded TRX and standard Raptor R might seem huge, but if you have the money to buy and fuel a 700-hp off-road pickup truck, what's $10K?”

The TRX starts at 78k, and unless you want the special orange “Ignition” edition every option on the TRX according to Rams website is under 14k. I’ll stick with a TRX and 32k in my pocket lol.

This in and of itself is another reason I can’t get into GM.
All the Alpha-Numeric jibberish, AT4X CTSV LT4.....😂😂

Ford makes it Godzilla
Dodge calls out a 60+ year old name like Hemi then adds Hellcat to it.
GM...LT5 Z-71 Cya later is worse than trying to remember your pass codes😂

I spoke to my buddy who is a GM at one of the largest ford dealers here in OC.

He said they are only getting one Raptor R and it’s going to the owner himself 🤣

This was a few months ago so I’m sure this will eventually change as they become more available but I thought it was funny.

I think you didn’t list the trim and engine names for Ford and Dodge because they are too difficult to remember😜

I thought the Raptor was better in every way suspension wise than the TRX

The problem with the TRX is at the end of the day, it’s still a DoDge. And you have to add the tail light covers and chrome roll bar aftermarket.

I could get used to a 6 cylinder Raptor.
If it looked, sounded and went like this.
Good stuff at 12 minutes in.

3000 Ford stores with just 3k Raptor R's being assembled per year pretty much tells you how easy it will be getting one.. Not all Ford stores will be able to get allocation..

Yep. Tried to order one. 25k down deposit and they have no idea when it will arrive. Can't even give a date. Their factory orange color is sick

I have a buddy that has friends that own Ford dealerships. He said the wait is 2 years!

It's a you have to pay to play situation...lol

Limited availability high price and people that need the hey LAM.

These things will be monsters and run away from the TRX but it's going to cost you 150k+++ otd to join the club.

I understand the market but the standard raptor rips and has more power than just about anyone would need offroad or on the street. Buy the standard gen 3 and spend 10k in suspension and you will have the R in the rearview.

Whos your GM Buddy? If he works at KGF I probably know him. And if we are talking about the same place, Yup Ken will definitely own the first.

150k for a truck seems like insanity to me. So may more exotics I would step into at that price.
