Welcome to the Big10.
Hello Michigan, / Chump Change,

welcome to the new PAC 12 infused big 10. UW could have provided a much larger beat down on Michigan if UW's head coach and most of the coaching staff didn't bail for more money last year along with numerous players going in to the draft. Big ten didn't prior to and doesn't currently have any supeioritoty on the west coast college football teams.

For the ignorant east coast homers of college football that think the "Big 10" plays a different smash mouth, more physical game of football...you will soon see that that same style can also be played with an adequate passing gamer, via PAC 12 teams. Big 10 teams are going to have to learn how to really defend the passing game as well as a legit running game.

I’m pretty sure you could say the same thing about Michigan’s coaching staff and players this last year as well. I’m not gonna dismiss UW. I went there to the Foster School of Business.

The aspect of flying coast to coast for these teams is going to be huge. UCLA lost to PSU. USC lost to Minnesota. Playing actress time zones ain’t easy.

They won the National Championship last year and lost their HC, OC and DC…not to mention all the players they lost to the NFL. Any reasonable fan knows there will be a drop off this year.

This is what I've been saying about the west coast kids that now have to jersey to play Rutgers. Let alone if it's a 9am start on the east coast

Exactly. The reason why the Pac10 always had an advantage in the Rose Bowl.

Stadiums are a little bigger in the B10 as well. It’s a different kind of fan.

Yep they also lost Connor stallions who was the MVP, they didn’t “ lose “ their head coach OC , DC, the ones who left knew what was coming for them cheating . Jim Harbaugh got a show cause and he cannot coach college football now , Jesse minter ( another cheater) had no choice but to leave , sherrone moore who was the OC was given the head coach position apparently because he cried last year on National tv , or he filled a quota.

I was just poking the bear Chump Change, collage football has always had fierce rivalry's, conference debates about who and why they are better than X conference and some what dependable outcomes with the top 25 schools. That all changed with NIL, cant say I think the kids don't deserve to get paid but perineal dominate schools and conferences are out the window now. I still cannot rap my head around UW loosing to Rutgers, but find it ironic that De Bore lost to Vanderbuilt.

Usc beat themselves.

What are “Things losers say for $100, Alex?”

How did they beat themselves? Throwing an interception? Drew threw three of them. So if Penn State lost I would say that they beat themselves? Lame. Penn State was a better team today.

NIL and realignment have created parity in the NCAA. NFL teams have a hard timer traveling and playing at much different times, collage players I venture to think have a much harder time with it. Not making excuses for UW being dominated, but traveling 3 time zones away and playing at 9:00am PST is new for them, might have bean a factor in Michigan's play last week versus UW. Same with east coast teams traveling west, but I would guess that's a little easier than performing 3 hours earlier than your used to being on the west coast. Flying for 3 - 5 hours to play a game isn't something these guys are used to either way.

Well USC had missed some field goal kicks, it would have been a different game, if they managed to score to close the game out and prevent overtime. All things USC didn't do right, so my comment about beating themselves stands when their own mistakes cost them the W. Sure Penn State is a good team but the Trojans could have beat them.

Penn St. is not good, I’m pretty sure you know that.

They play one good team on their schedule and it will show.

If if if. If my Aunt had balls she’d be my Uncle. If Allard didn’t throw three interceptions, PSU could’ve beat them in regulation and not gone into overtime. These type of arguments don’t hold any validity in sports. It’s part of the game.

It’s just a way to deny that your team doesn’t suck which they do.

Sure they could’ve beat them but they didn’t. Today’s better team won.

Well at least you’re agreeing with my argument that USC sucks then. lol

And time will tell. It does every season.

Not a Duck fan at all, but I am happy they won. When UW smokes the Ducks it should help UW get to a bowl game!

Hell of a performance by your boys tonight. 👍

O showed up, D had a tough task.
Yeah we were in it more than I thought so that was a good thing. I knew their O was gonna go off. Glad ours did a little of that as well.

Johnson from Oregon was on another level.

Looking forward to seeing how things line up tomorrow.

Looking forward to Indiana/ Notre Dame.

Penn State has a clear path to the semi’s, especially with a cold weather home game.

Going into last night’s game I was hoping I would’ve been like the 1994 Rose Bowl when Carter went for a touchdown on the first play against the big mean green defense. Man that was a great team.

1:40 into it.

This sums it up. Yep.
It's interesting to me...
Penn State's roster is equal to Ohio state/Texas IMO.
They hung tuff with Oregon last night.
If they had Dan Lanning or Kirby Smart as head coach no doubt in my mind PSU would be odds on favorite to win it all.
To me...Franklin is another Mario Cristobal kinda coach.
Great recruiter...terrible game day coach.
