Looking good guys. I've been really quite because I wasn't sure the stars would align for us, they didn't.
Mead is my all time favorite water. It's just special for me.
So I'll just take it in vicariously, drink, brood, drink, brood, drink some more.
Carry on..

What's with the Twin/Twin turbo? Who's is that?

We have a little bit of a split group. We have young kids so they were in bed by 8. @pull-on and crew had dinner around 8. We couldn’t make it unfortunately.

I just met him today, the boat lives in Mead. Super nice guy. Bought the hull new from Nick Barron in 2013 I think? GT rigged it with TT 1100 motors. He is still playing with set up. It’s a 335. Gotta run 110+ . He’s going to go boating with us today. Maybe I’ll try to thumb a ride.

LOL- I don’t think he uses it a lot. I’m also not sure if I got the year right or how long the TT motors have been in it. It’s a bad ass boat though.

Side note- 10am at the tires to head out!

I didn’t take hardly any pictures today. We went back to Hallett beach, there was probably 20 Halletts there. We then took off up to Temple Bar and a little north of that to just below Sandy Point. It was pretty hot today but manageable.

Absolutely AMAZING weekend. This will probably turn into an annual rendezvous.

Thanks to @pull-on for brainstorming the idea!

Great day out on the water, definitely the most halletts I’ve ever seen on hallett beach all at once.

Hemingway was a dumpster fire, more than usual. Guy about 60’ off the ramp in a toon, fishing. Seriously, casting and reeling. As I went around him to get on my trailer I asked him: am I in your way? Oh, no, you are fine.

saw and heard a tractor slam into the dock like he was trying to beach it for a week.

then some fool comes down the ramp at about 30 MPH and jackknife right in the middle of the ramp.

Good times.

My wife agreed that we should replace our 25 year old windshield, I thought OC boat windshields was the place to go.

New cams, lifters and computers = more power everywhere, now the turbos wake up fast. Getting on plane was a little difficult. The motors would struggle to build boost then in then hit like crazy and blow the props loose. Much better with the new parts.
