Ya...we need more 22’s on the water. We are a rare breed. Some think we look too much like a Spectra, and not enough like a Schiada...lol...like we don’t belong on a t-shirt or something...(haters). I can’t wait to get my engine hatch and Bimini top done on mine. Maybe then the haters will step up to the line. I guess I’d be pissed too if a bigger heavier boat was draggin my ass down the river too! Hahaha....no offense! Again, bitchen boat...lovin that wood grain.

Motor is being finished..it's built but having to remount a few things to get it on dyno...went twin turbo. Boat is in wait for this piece...takes tooooo long. I love the looks of the 22 also...in fact I like the rareness of them.

Lets see some pics of the plating and whatever is going on inside of her. [emoji106]

I was thinking a candy maroon powdercoat would be badass on a boat with maroon in it.

Lookin badass RCL. Nice work. It’d be nice to see more 22’ers out there. Only Schiada more mythical is the elusive Schiada flatbottom. People with REALLY BIG issues restore those things. [emoji16][emoji41]

Can’t wait to see the finished product. Gonna be super cool. [emoji1303]

Thanks for bringing this back up...Been waiting a LONNNNNNG God damn time for the motor completion. Frustrating and it is coming along now. I have decided I'm not doing the finish work. This boat needs to be done right and I'm going to pay somebody to finish it. Hopefully we will have it on the water by June, July or August.

Are you going EFI or draw through carbs ?

I had to go the carb route on my turd too ! I couldn’t find a way to shoot the lock off my wallet for the EFI. The carbs work well and are trouble free.

Can’t wait to have another 22 out there running around. We are a rare breed these days.

I'm excited too...I love the look of the 22' It had to grow on me but as I prepped it and capped it...each day it got better. Deangang can I get a pic of your throttle linkage?? I ordered mine from Carson but I love looking at other ways to do it...

That looks just like mine..Gentry stuff right??
Yes it is a combo of Gentry, Race Aero , Garrett , and turbos direct. My throttle set up is a little different . I run two Morse type cables , one to each carb . It’s kind of hard to see but these are the only pix I could come up with.

I asked about twin cables and I was laughed at...it seemed fool proof to me...but it would require fab work up at the pedal assy...

IIRC Carson ran twin cables on some of those race aero setups in both of his old personal boats (Lynch's 270, and another 240 Hallett). Should be no issue if done properly

Old thread drug back up.. I’m thrilled to say that this thing is close to done. What a journey this has been. Jody at Conquest got the interior done two years ago. I’ll throw pics up from last weekend. Boat is in Yuma AZ gettjbg the wiring done. I would say two more plane tickets from Boise to Yuma and we will be in the water.

No it’s not Larry’s boat. It was in northern CA.
Ok looked like Larry’s boat he had a new Ellis trailer built for it that looks like yours. Mark LoPresti had the boat for sale but I never heard who bought it. Boat looks good, you know the hurry and wait, even worse now with Covid-19.

Such a classy looking boat, I love the color combination and the great lines of the 22 deck.
