Motor is being finished..it's built but having to remount a few things to get it on dyno...went twin turbo. Boat is in wait for this piece...takes tooooo long. I love the looks of the 22 also...in fact I like the rareness of them.
Are you going EFI or draw through carbs ?Thanks for bringing this back up...Been waiting a LONNNNNNG God damn time for the motor completion. Frustrating and it is coming along now. I have decided I'm not doing the finish work. This boat needs to be done right and I'm going to pay somebody to finish it. Hopefully we will have it on the water by June, July or August.
Sometimes...simple is just better. Plenty of carbed TT or blower motors with carbs running like a raped date!!View attachment 693607 I had to go the carb route on my turd too ! I couldn’t find a way to shoot the lock off my wallet for the EFI. The carbs work well and are trouble free.
Can’t wait to have another 22 out there running around. We are a rare breed these days. Thanks for bringing this back up...Been waiting a LONNNNNNG God damn time for the motor completion. Looks like Race Aero exhaust manifolds and cooler. I have a similar carb set up, I'll see if i have any pics. That looks just like mine..Gentry stuff right??
Yes it is a combo of Gentry, Race Aero , Garrett , and turbos direct. My throttle set up is a little different . I run two Morse type cables , one to each carb . It’s kind of hard to see but these are the only pix I could come up with. That looks just like mine..Gentry stuff right??
I asked about twin cables and I was laughed at...it seemed fool proof to me...but it would require fab work up at the pedal assy...
Looking forward to seeing some pics of your project I'm sure it's going to be nice!I will post pics up soon...I'm working every night and all weekends to get this to water this summer...Motor will dyno Jan 6 or 7th...I called Thane at Nordic today and made my interior appt for April...if I can get it done sooner the better it will be..doing floors in it as we speak...
No it’s not Larry’s boat. It was in northern CA.Is that Larry Dahlhoffs old boat?
Ok looked like Larry’s boat he had a new Ellis trailer built for it that looks like yours. Mark LoPresti had the boat for sale but I never heard who bought it. Boat looks good, you know the hurry and wait, even worse now with Covid-19.No it’s not Larry’s boat. It was in northern CA.
