Hey Gang, just checking to see level of interest in my 22' Vaughn - Really don't want to sell, but.....
Stats:
1984 22' Vaughn - *we did a restoration blog on this forum and Performance Boats did a 5-page article on it. Blue Heat was originally an outboard with a Cosworth 3.4L
HP 500 (not a Merc Blue racing motor, but a 502 that we pulled the efi off)
Bravo One drive 1:50
55 gal belly tank
Livorsi 'bling'
Base coat / Clear coat paint job
Tandem Trailer with newer tires and spare
Current Reg and titles on both

Nice to see you saved another one. Is that about 425 horsepower? What are you getting for speeds with that motor?

Thx Greg Its a Merc 502 that had the top end done and Efi stuff pulled. With two adults, 3/4 tank and some steady chop it'll see 72 on GPS turning 4800 Rpm spinning a Bravo One 26p 4-blade. Has a GREAT front entry and V-bottom to cut through the yacht/wake surfers crap up here in the Delta . Vaughn 3 should be hitting the water mid-March

Well, I have my offshore boat up for sale now...
I gotta a couple of nibbles on it, and hope it sells pretty soon.

At that point, I will most likely sell my 23ft deck boat, and get something else...

I kinda like this boat, especially the engine... pretty much what I would do, if I where gonna build a motor...
Enough HP to put smile on my face, but built to last a very long time. Which minimizes the worry factor of it breaking!.

Wish it was an open bow, but I might be able to live with a closed bow.

Norcal will confirm with an exact width but when I looked at one back a ways I seem to remember the beam being almost 8'
