Nice boat! This is a good deal. These are laid up heavy and your restoration is super clean. If I wasn’t at the tail end of finishing my Vaughn I’d consider! GLWS.
Thx! Can't wait to see your Vaughn V-drive on the water!!!! We'll need to have a Vaughn reunion in Havasu!!!! *You, Boatpotato, my Red-n-Silver BASS EDITION, Vaughn 2 and the "Future" Vaughn 1 owner LOL!!!!
Really beautiful boat! So clean.
Have to say I’ve seen it on the Delta? If I wasn’t so committed to refreshing mine I’d be a serious looker.
You noted you had it painted base/clear. Can I ask who you used? I was planning to use a pretty well know glass guy but looks like he’s not doing boats anymore...
Thanks!
SnS
Thx for the compliments and yes that was probably us out on the Delta. If you'd like I can ask my guy if he's taking on any projects what size and make is your boat?
Thanks, I’ve got a ‘91Freedom 230xl. Not a common boat looks like a Stingray or Pachanga.
Bought the boat new as a manufacturers demo. Boat wasn’t cut yet so I was able to have a BBC Bravo 1 installed. Been a Delta and No. Calif. lake boat all it’s life but now lives out near Lake Camanche. Suns taken a toll on the once white gel (slightly yellow now), hull’s really not too bad but depends on the craftsman. Like I said, I thought I had a guy but that’s looking sketchy. I’m not in any hurry and was going to pretty much wait until the off-season even?
Sorry about the lengthy rant, I’ve been looking for Northern Cal. refreshed boats and competent painters/gel guys, seeing yours makes my mouth water
Thanks again,
Tony
Copy that Ya use the heck out of it now (especially since we have the water) I can send you some pics of what my guy can/has done Pretty reasonable if you keep it simple
Aah I wish I could right now. Too much going on, I won’t have it in the water this season, just finishing up my shop for the boat and our RV. For the last 15 years the poor boat sat under its cover and tarps, no longer...it’ll get baby’d Like yours is!
I’d really appreciate any names, pics etc. Plans are to keep it pretty simple and clean.
