Talked with Todd on pricing, wanted feedback from owners on the power options.
Big outboard is good way, thing 250 Suzuki for budget build, thinking it would be 70 MPH? 300R sounds about right balance of power and cost or the 350 Verado?
Never owned a jet boat but it is very interesting. What level of power do you need to get into 75 mph with 3 passengers?

Had lot of stern drives so going to pass on that approach.
Boat will be docked on Torch Lake, Michigan.

Gator has 3 stock patterns
Pacific - no lines
Diamond - this
Cascade - my 21 skiers get simple lines

Then custom fucked gnarly pray it looks rad

I go diamond and cascade only

I dont see too many LSA outdrives, I thought it sounded like a great combo

DI motor has a heftier price tag as i recall?
I would love to have an LSA I have a nice 73 blazer project that would work nicely in. Of course not as nice as a 23 deck

It works crazy good
But sad to say these are the last LSA engines I can buy

LT4 is yes pricey

73 blazer. A nice junkyard 6.0 LQ4 with hot cam and headers sounds like a perfect motor.

I'm a bit confused on my Tahiti history. Maybe you can clear me up. It was "Tahiti" then "Tahiti/Caribbean by Hardin Marine" and now resurrected to "Tahiti Offshore", correct?

In the 90's we had a Tahiti Caribbean 19' with a 454 BBC and Berkeley jet. I currently have a 1976 18' outboard model (Tiger?). And who knows, maybe we will be in the market for a new one.

Too much of a pain in the ass to build. Too many man hours to get them built properly. They end up costing more money to build than worth.
