What are you thinking of doing up in the cabin? I'm assuming they stuffed jumpers plus a dwarf bed under there.

Sleeping in it. As often as possible.
Surprisingly, there's plenty of room under there. It's already finished, interior wise. There's a full v berth, plus seating for 4. The boat is all deck. Lol..

Very cool, useful space in a 23 footer. Carry on.................

Made the hatch actuator mounts this am.

The one with the plate is for the bottom. No way to hide the fasteners in the floor.
The top mount bolt will go through the hatch, and under the upholstery.

Had some more visitors to the hula hut tonight. Hydroskreamin and Crash stopped by. I've had the jeep tub sitting outside in an enclosed trailer on his cart.
He brought his boat back to shiny side up today, and needs it back. So. We unloaded the tub, put it on my table.

Like minded group right there for sure! Are the two holes in the floor plate for a foot grabber?

Carpet is cut close to size. Floorboards are installed. My buddy Corey came by this am and got the trailer lights working for me. Not that I'm incapable, just running short on time, and he was happy to help out. Cool.

And that's as far as I'm going with the interior. I've been kicking around the idea of buying a sewing machine. We'll see. It needs a cockpit cover.

Someone cut the wires to the neutral switch where the cables connect. I need to splice that back together, and it needs a few zip ties. Water tomorrow. :)

Sunday tech tip. If you cut these wires, the ECU thinks the engine is always in neutral. It isnt a neutral safety switch, and has nothing to do with the shifter control.

Whoever cut it left the wires and the connector. All it would have taken was to UNPLUG IT. 4 inches away. Sharp as a balloon.

I am thrilled with this speed for my 1st trip out. I hung a 25p 3 blade fury on it.

Congrats. Looks like you kicked it into high gear this last week to get her wet before Aug 1.

Fuel is leaking from the sending unit in the tank. There's no deck access plates over it. Back on the trailer and headed to the hula hut now. Dammit.

That is my buddy John and his wife Gina. They run a 30' checkmate with a 496.
The plan was to run across Lake Winnebago to Stockbridge for lunch. They offered that I ride with them once I got mine loaded up but I didn't want to delay them any further. Besides, I wanna tear into this and get it fixed as soon as possible.

Got the hole drilled and found the problem. Whoever installed the sender originally used the wrong size screws. The holes are for a #10, not a 6 or 8 whatever was in there. Changing out the screws and resealing them now. Back on the water shortly.

Considering I had to drill a hole in the floor to get to this, it was done at the factory. Smh....

Great job! I’ve enjoyed following along with your project. I have one question though. What is the antenna coming out of the top of your head for?
It keeps my tinfoil hat from blowing off.:p:p:p

Its actually a boatwhips sternlight. One of those multicolored deals. It's pretty bitchen.

My seats are collapsing. Not the bases I built, but the rotomolded plastic seats themselves.
I basically copied the footprint of the original fiberglass based, but changed the angle.
I've added support all the way to the rear of the plastic part. Hopefully it makes a marked difference.
