this model was my First Eliminator.... It was a GREAT boat...in a lot of ways I miss the ole' girl... But on ward and upward right... we don't go backwards !!
Is a tried and true family truxter.
Straight bottom, no fancy step bottom or surprises. Jet or I/O, lots of interior room.

Since they’ve dusted off the molds they’ve sold a few.
I imagine they’d sell more if they actually wanted to, the market is coming back for something in this category.

@Eliminator Boats
For general knowledge, what does a package like this cost, ballpark. STD package, and say std plus, @wiredguy dialing in some bump, perhaps some nicer wheel/trailer upgrades. You know, custom.;)
I think some folks might be pleasantly surprised, just never bothered to ask.

Does Eliminator measure running surface on their Eagles like Lavey, or does EB measure overall length (including swim-step)? There's quite a bit of overhang off the back end.

Depends on the model, my 236 has the same running surface as a 250, but without a built in swim step. Most probably measure the swim step. They do generally had a wide beam for there length, 99" on the 236/ 250. They however are not as deep or long in the water as a Lavey Nu Era 24. The 230 has a lot of interior room because the helm is pushed forward, the XP line the helm is farther back to get the weight back for performance, the 230 is still a good performer.

With the split swimstep, this seems like it could be adjusted to run an outboard pretty easily and fit fight into the current trend.

I had a 236xp with 496ho..
When you got that boat on the last pad, it cut thru wakes and road amazing, smooth ride.
Cruised everywhere at 45mph hour like it was nothing..

If my memory is correct...
At 3000 ft elevation, loaded with 4 big peeps, ice chest etc... we got 64-65MPH WOT. I think it could have been propped a bit better.
At lower elevations and one person it could touch 70....

I really enjoyed that boat.

That hull would probably also work very well with a new Merc 300R wacker on the back. Tons of space.
