Older, experienced, cash buyer looking for a 24'-26' WTOB or MCOB V-Hull...including all of the usual suspects.

Nordic Rage
Shockwave Tremor
Lavey NuEra 24' & 26'
Cobra 260
Hallett 240
etc, etc....

Prefer timeless graphics and stock power (496HO) but open to other options.

Distance doesn't bother me, willing to travel for the right boat.

Its safe to say I've seen almost everything that is currently advertised online. So if you have something you are thinking about selling and haven't listed it yet, or don't want to deal with the hassle of listing, tire kickers, and no-shows....

I've seen a few boats I would have been happy with around $40K, but other people beat me to them.

One example: Lavey Craft has a 24' with only 38 hours listed for $45K, but the graphics don't work for us. Looks like a nice boat for the right buyer though - https://www.laveycraft.com/for-sale

So lets say under $50K to start. (which is why I didn't mention Howard Bullet) I've been shopping hard since last summer so I'm familiar with the market....or said another way, my expectations are calibrated and I'm willing to pay fair market value.

Have you seen the 24 nuera on highline Motorsports? The red one.

Yes I did, thank you!

There is also one on Facebook marketplace from Henderson. It’s white with some blue.

The 24 Essex in that add is a good looking solid ride...

I've been kicking around upgrading myself, so its not technically for sale yet ( I'm shopping for the new to me first) but for the right price maybe. Lavey 24 NuEra, 496HO, 250hrs, trim tabs, new JL stereo with sub, new full stainless Bimini last year. I'd consider $45k

Still looking....

(A couple nice options came up, but two sellers decided not to let their boats go, and another one got sold out from under me.)

Thinking $65K if he likes a Cobra 260. Don't go to low without listing first :)

Most nice boats sell to people that know people looking. Advertising only brings the J-holes out. I would gladly take a little less to have a wham bam easy deal.

I got the mindset of going boat less this year and being a boat bitch, first time in 35 years or so. maybe look for a better deal come fall.

That is the same boat from the Facebook add. The one where the guy gave the screwy answer. I think it might be nice, the owner might not be so bright.

It has 200 going on 300 hrs. Can tell he isn't bright by picking those colors!

Hahaha! Yeah bad is an understatement.

My biggest issue is these owners trying to sell a boat and they don't know anything about it. Really puts me at ease knowing they probably really know how to boat and took amazing care of it also.

Plus a 2002 or 2003 Hallett 255 just sold for $36k in Phx so not sure that motor and a couple of years is worth another $20k. Prices are nuts right now

I think its more of lots of people don't know what they are buying. Yea new boats are expensive but lets a say a run of the meal custom boat 21ft model 2000ish with 500 hours on a 496 isn't worth 40k. So people are pulling loans on 20 year old boats that will be payed off when boat is 40 years old. A 98 DCB with a 500 hour blue motor for 100k? it isn't a M35 and never was so person that buys that has a 45 year old boat when its payed off or drop 100k cash.

Definitely a huge part of it. Also though a new 25 foot boat should not be 100k.

Yea for sure, prices are up there for sure. Might have to switch to fishing and get a bass boat.
Call you Woody. Damn bass boats start at 50k. New prices drive up the old. Have not seen much been looking everyday for a second ski to fill void on trailer.

You have the link to the add on that one? 36k would be a deal currently if it’s not all beat up.

Woody 2! Bass boat with sparkle is fine if it has a 400 on it.

Was on CL, sold in 2 days. I see a decently priced boat few and far between but its usually when I am traveling and gone when I get back.
