I thought I read that this hull wasn’t a true 24ft. Does anyone know the size?

Were there 2 versions of the 24 bottom? Did they run a pad or a notch?

I heard Lee would set them up with or without pad based on where the owner would boat.

Wouldn't the hull design depend primarily on powertrain?? Would you run a pad bottom with a v-drive install?? I wouldnt imagine you would, but I'm no Lee Spindler! 🤣

There are a couple 21' Schiada V-Drives with delta pads. Bob Schwartz old boat (which John Bohls owned and raced) and Charlie Wards
As far as the bottoms of the 24's (which I believe is actually 22'7"), there are several configurations built through the years
The changes in configuration were all made with inserts in the mold. 2 were built with step bottoms one was white and teal and the other was white and blue with some pink. Several were built with delta pads of different lengths and widths. The other option that I know of was a shallow entry which I know was used in the bottom of Linder's SR22 and maybe a few others as well.

I always thought there would be more 24 V drives around. Especially from back in the day before Sterndrives were able to take a decent amount of power.
