What are your thoughts on hanging 400s on a 25? I have a 25 Daytona with twin 300x that I want to repower. I'd really rather go 400s if the weight wouldn't screw with the handling.

It ran 106 at new year's. 2 of us, full of fuel, anchor, beer, etc. I haven't legged it out, nor have I ran it with light load. My assumption is it would run 110 if you wanted to just see the number. I dont care enough to go through all the effort.

25 Speedster base price on I/O 540 motor would run about 173k at speeds of 84-88mph

So much want.... Twin 300R’s is about 165k ish, damn near fully loaded. The guy I was talking to wasn’t sure how much more the carbon/Kevlar option would be. I can’t wait to see some of these built. I definitely see one in my future.

I would agree. Just think howmuch better one of these wold run with one 500 compared to 10 years ago running it with a 525...no comparison.
