What a weekend on the rzr. Friday we headed out from Parker to Lake Alamo with 33 others cars. Almost all the drivers had dirt racing experience or are still active including racing this weekend in the Parker 425.
One way to Lake Alamo is 75 miles. We took one route there and different route back.
This ride was pretty much a speed run to different stops along the way.
The trail in, was fast and technical, along ridges, washes, water crossings, and the most beautiful canyons your car barely fits through. Slot Canyon MUST SEE
On the way back we traveled through a silty wash until we got on the Parker 425 race course. We must have been on the race course for 40 miles in to Parker. Talk about speed we were flying since it was getting dark.

Today, same group, only 10 cars we left from Parker, to Parker Dam, then toward Black Meadows, off on to the dirt up to the highest mountains in the area. This is the most scenic trail to date. This trial is not for people with fears of heights and BIG SUR type cliffs.
The views of the mountains and the view of almost the entire Lake Havasu system was amazing.
Our destination was Havasu Landing for lunch.
On the the way back we took the beach trail (lower trail) this trail consisted of ridges and washes until you get to Havasu Palms.
Along the ridges you have endless lake view stops.
Leaving Havasu Palms we entered another bitchen walled canyon until we got to Black Meadows.
This ride was 101 miles, for a total of 250 miles in two days.
Car now has 5150 miles and we have yet to blow a belt.
These are two trips that if not done yet might want to consider.
