Still in the market for a 26 ( like the added cockpit floor space over the 27 ) Due to insurance costs. Would rather have a 28 or 30 but insurance is stupid. I can buy an M3 for the same $ and the insurance is under $1000, Alot easier to total the M3 than the boat.
And I would think the liability exposure would be higher on the car. I still think it is time for a cat. Don't want an open bow or over 500 HP.
( for insurance reasons ) I don't care for wild paint either. < $50,000

Hard boat to find this time of year. I didn't see much out there with the things and price your looking for.

Did see this 25 recently though. Seems like a very clean boat, at a good price. But I think you perfer canopies?

Thanks - I saw that boat - The 25' don't have any space in the cockpit. I can't see how you can stand up in front of the back seats.
The 26 at least has some room there. I am used to my 34 SCARAB - lots of room. My old Glastron had more room than a 25 or 27 Daytona.

Thanks RT99.:thumbsup

I forgot about this boat. It's over on OSO, sweet colors and conservative 496 power, but its 74K. Nice looking 26 though.:thumbsup

I havn't seen that one yet. I don't have a problem with the paint. I prefer oranges, yellows, green, reds.
TOO much money though.
I don't want to spend more than $50,000 because this will more than likely be a stepping stone for a 30 in two years.
Thanks for the help.

Sandbar Mike had an 02 26ft. for sale on Performance boats.com for $55K "firm" with a 496. Maybe hit him up and see if that's still true.
