Daughter hey now.....If I rubbed on my face the kind of crap she does every night I’d look 20 year young too. We’d just be broke as mofos. You got to give up a little to make the wife happy. You know the saying....happy wife happy life.

Coming from divorced families we both agreed that was not an option. Even with that agreement there was a couple of difficult moments. As you all know it is work but well worth it.

Congratulations, but never forget.

My fathers best friend was fishing 100 miles from home with his buddies, when this “oh shit” look came over his face.
It was his 25th wedding anniversary and he forgot, His friends really appreciated that he placed their friendship over spending that special day with his wife. Guy came home and there were two suitcases on the front porch. He paid very dearly for that.

On another note, my wife and I are sitting on the front deck of our place at the river. Friend stops by with flowers and a bottle of Champagne. So, what’s this for? He says your anniversary, wife and both look at each other and go, oh yeah it is. At the time, had been together 41 years and married for 15.
This year will be together for 49 years and married for 23.
I say the best 5 years of my life, she says the best 3 years of hers.
