Larry started taping the mold last week
Build is for a great guy and his family out of the North West. This will be his 4th Eliminator. First to be built to order!

No clue what its going to do but that would be awesome....I keep looking for others with similar builds but not much out there on the web, kinda crazy.

Same boat I thought of and that made me think the yellow was working for me.

Beautiful. Is it just the lighting or is it more a mustard than a lemon yellow?

nice to see another 28 go through the shop. i believe mine was the last one built. took delivery June of 2017. it is red with some blacks, greys and whites. special layup, infused with foam cored deck. has twin 400's and runs 119 mph with normal loads. i would expect yours to be at least 10 mph faster with 50% more power. first outboard boat in 20 years. i am hoping for better reliability than the SC BBC i have owned in the past. good luck with the build. where do you boat? we mostly go to Havasu which is getting too hot. went to Mohave last week. it was too hot and windy to even go out saturday and sunday.

Thanks for the note, I'm hoping for something in that range with the motors stock. Once the warranty is up it will be straight to the stage 3 whipple upgrade and hopefully closer to the 140 mark. I live in Vancouver, WA so we boat up in the NW - primarily up and down the Columbia river. We also try to hit Shasta at least once in the summer. I've been plotting to get to Havasu for DS next year but not sure I can tow a boat that damn far....we'll see. There are quite a few poker runs up in the NW actually - we have a lake Roosevelt run, one on Chelan, one on the Columbia at Crescent bar - all pretty good runs. Just not enough time to hit 'em all! I'd love to see some pics of your boat!

What's going on with the front of the strake on the port side....looks like it's missing some gel?

It is....the bottom of both sponsons in the front are going to convert to yellow so I think they are waiting until they re-gel it to do anything.

Did this start as a half cap then become a full cap? Just basing off tape

No, but I could see why you’d think so looking at the masking.

Will be front/rear cap.
They’re modifying the width of some stripes. They’re adding a stripe inside the white stripe that crosses the engine hatch.
They’re adding a stripe inside the black stripe that extends from the nose to a point on the side of the boat under the driver seat.
Pretty extensive changes labor wise.

Sounds like Mr. Cat Sass should have picked it right the first time, and handed it to the master! Lol

Lol, hindsight’s always 20/20.
Not the first time, won’t be the last.
Cat Sass mods is nothing. Easy!
I’ve seen folks walk right past the boat in the colors they signed for and not recognized it.
At least this guy knew it was his:D

Yeah, several changes but it's coming around! Capping and changing lines is a LOOOONG process but Jake and Fear have been great and are still putting up with me, LOL.

I’m wondering how many folks can even tell what’s going on within this myriad of tape and overspray.
It reads like a book to me, but not everyone reads the same language:D

Almost everything you guys do is confusing to me, lol. Impressive work to say the least.
