This Daytona is going back to New York. Will be powered by 565's. Very clean and classy look to it with tons of pearl/flake.

Some samples of color sent to the owner..

Out of the mold and rigging has started.

went and saw this boat in person earlier this week. The gel is beyond awesome. Bob and team are very creative.

I like this boat a lot. What did catch my eye and not sure it looks too good is the white rub rail around the front blending to stainless on the sides. From the pictures really takes away from the boat.

I agree with Don. If not cap the front and rear, ditch the white rub rail and continue the stainless rub rail all the way around the boat. Other than that the boat looks great.

Build threads only guys.. Other then an atta boy, it doesn't belong in the section. Trying to keep the threads short and to the point for future reference on builds.

Got a ride in it yesterday, pretty impressive. The 565's are amazing, went from 50 to 100 in the blink of an eye. I tried to get a picture of the 100+ but it was way to hard to hold my note 3 camera phone steady. I think we, 4 guys and about 50 gallons of fuel, hit about 110 before we ran out of prop. Bob said he was going to try some other props, I think he said Maximus 36's
The Gel looked great in the sunlight and I'm not sure how they painted the trailer to match but it was damn close to same pearl color.
If any of the inmates are in the area He said its leaving for the east coast in about a week and he still wants to go to the lake with it at least one more time, can you say awesome boat ride! The only catch is helping wipe it down when its done.
If you call the shop today, ask for Andrew and give him a hard time for me!
