300 pro max mid

Simple question. Will a 300sx bolt to a 3Liter promax mid and fit under the alien cowl? I'd like to eventually upgrade but I like promax alien cowl and fat mid and would like to keep it.

the guy who bought my boat just swapped XS powerheads on to the X mids, not sure if the cowlings had to be changed, he is n2fastforu I think is his screen name

The XS powerhead will fit on the x mid and under the Alien cowl but you will have to trim the liner out of the cowl for it to fit. Joe at Hot Laps did my X to XS conversion last year, he is a very good source of information regarding this swap. I cut the liner out of the cowl myself with a Dremel tool, it was a little awkward but easy.
