1986 Ford Bronco, 351, carb'd and the block is windowed.

Possible replacement 351 engine is out of a '89 F150, with electronic fuel injection.

Will the carb'd intake fit onto the efi heads / engine?

Not a Ford guy, and asking for a friend.

Truthfully, not enough info here...

But, if they are both 351 Windsor engines, the answer is, yes. Everything should fit. Ford also made a 351 Cleveland engine, it's a completely different design

But, why would you do that??

In 1990 the 351 Windsor engine came with a one piece rear main seal. If it were me doing an engine swap, I would NOT be using a 2 piece rear main seal block under any conditions. Oil leaks suck. It might be tough to try and find a one piece rear main 351W block, but it would totally be worth the effort.

The 351W can be built into a monster pretty easily...

What other info is needed, I'll try to get it.

86 Bronco, factory/original 351

89 F150, factory /original 351, known running engine.

Read my post again....

IF they are both Windsor engines, you are good.

IF they are both Cleveland engines, you are good.

My personal opinion is...

The replacement engine should have a one piece rear main seal.

Got it.

351c were not manufactured after 1982.

These must be 351 Windsor engines.

Gonna hear the efi engine run this weekend.

Thanks

Yes it will work, they are the same motor.

Let's hope so.

Sbc intake manifolds won't interchange, an 86 to an 89

Big block Ford (460) intake manifold won't interchange from an 85 to an 88.

That is why I ask.

I totally get it. The only significant change in those motors is 94/95 when they got roller cams
