35th Year on Lake Powell

I don't post too many trip pics but this was a special one. We've been empty nesters for a few years and haven't been able to have both kids on a trip in a while. This year we got our son because he had a few weeks before leaving to the Naval Academy (he is an E4 Nuke) and our daughter got some time off from her full time job while also attending NAU. We were there from June 3-10 and the weather was perfect and beaches were empty!
P.S. - The water level is low and Powell is closed! Please don't come.

Hopefully I can talk the wife into October trips. Might just be the two us for a while tho.

Some of the other owners of our houseboat say that October is the best time to go. I may have to check that out!

Thanks, I remember meeting you at Dangling Rope a few years ago when you first got your Howard. It is rare to see two Howards parked side by side at Dangling Rope!

it was good to meet you way back when. Funny thing, I told my wife we are likely to not ever see another Howard at Powell. Met a guy my first trip with this boat in a 25 Bullet then you the 2nd or 3rd. it was cool to be side by side. I can't wait for the 4th weekend. I may try to do another Powell thread.
