Totally agree on the lost use of the I/O engine bay area and I am also curious to see how well the 400Rs can move this 36.

It's only $$$$ to move the rear seat back. Yes, I've heard all about the molds blah blah blah but truly wish one of these builders would step up and do it. The higher HP outboards are coming, at some point.

They already are in the 27

I have a owned a 36 coupe for 5 years. Unless this thing is light I'm not sure how it will perform. I love the concept though.

I might have missed this, but has the hull weight been mentioned yet?

That will be very interesting. I heard a rumor someone was building a new 25 Daytona with twin 300R, any truth to that?
If you dig around in this section you can probably find some images.
While the compartment still looks big, they have a shorter hatch, and there’s two different floor/liner molds, the standard I/O floor and this outboard floor which is some 18+ inches longer. They can adjust via insert where the bench will end up.

The rear seat has been pushed back in the 27’ speedster got 2 years. Done in the mold!
Just like Gelcoater said.

I'm really interested in seeing the final hull, as well as how it performs. That's a monster boat!

Updates? I am really interested in the final product. Especially interested in seeing how the graphics match after the cut down.

Back from gelcoat and capping. Back to our factory to be rigged. Mike had another shop cap and gelcoat the hull.

Hull weight on this big girl? And that F350 is sweet by the way.

That eliminator is a full tunnel boat. I believe one of two built. I think its now the only one. The 36 always porpoises between 85 and 105. Its going to be interesting how it packs air with just outboards hanging off the back.

Here's the other one. We crashed in 2003 in Ft. Lauderdale.

Oh hey, that's John's boat in the background. He has it up here at Naci all the time.

The one in the background is the 45' Skater. The one at Nac is his 36' Eliminatior. The bottom of the Eliminatior is the one that he won the National Championship with. They put a new deck on it and made a bow rider out if it. It has the Super Cat motors out of the Skater (that were de-tuned).

Is that the standard transom notch or one made for the outboards?

Are they still going with the 400R’s or making the jump to the 450’s? For the size, I’m sure it wouldn’t mind the extra torque, but then again it isn’t my money lol!

The Hull with full interior less power weighed in at 4,800lbs as a standard layup.

You don’t have to drive far to go see it in person!!!

In the alley behind Ultra today, looks like Rusty is going to be finis h i n g it!

Nicer than anything i own but when you look at the rear in person, as well photos really, vertical lines are just wrong, there’s an extra red line that really just baffled me. However it’s a huge sob.
